3月8日鎌倉宮までとその後/ To Kamakura-gu, 8th March and a Later Walk

1) 鎌倉宮までの道 
    On the Way to Kamakura-gu

リハビリのために鎌倉宮へ行きました。

鎌倉宮は鎌倉の観光地で、自宅から最も近いバス停もここにあります。

私はとてもゆっくりしか歩けませんが、それによって、日頃気がつかないことに気づきます。

例えば、平な道だとは思っていたところが、実際は斜めになっている事を私の'ヨワッチイ体'は感じ取ります。

健康な体は、体が自動的にあわせてくれているのだということも気がつきます。

今、このような歩き方をすることによって、

'人生の中で元気でいるとつい走りすぎてしまい、興味あるいろいろなものを見過ごしてしまうのかも...。

'走って生きる事もある時期は良いけれども、時には立ち止まり、時にはゆっくり歩く事は、より良い事'

'ゆっくり歩くという事は、人生を丁寧に生きるという事'

景色を楽しみながら、こんなことも思って、よちよちと歩きました。

UME: Japanese Red Apricot

On the Way to Kamakura-gu

I made my way to Kamakura-gu for rehabilitation. 

Kamakura-gu is a tourist spot in Kamakura, and also there is the closest bus stop to our house.

Now I walk very very slowly, therefore I realize something which usually I don't. For example, I thought the road is flat, in fact it slopes from one side to the other which my weak body feels strongly.

And also I noticed if the body is healthy, it can adapt automatically.

I walk slowly then I started thinking :

'If people are fine, they maybe too busy, then they might miss many interesting things'

''It is good that people are very busy sometimes in their lives, however, it is better sometimes to stop or to walk slowly'

'Walk Slowly means we live carefully'

While I enjoyed the views, I was thinking like that and I was toddling.

河津桜 (かわづざくら)
Kwazuzakura: one of cherry trees 

鎌倉宮の鳥居前にあるので、お参りしなくても目にとまります。

私が入院 (2月2日〜8日)する前から咲いていたのを憶えています。

あの頃はここまでも歩けず、タクシーから見たのでした。

私は桜の開花期間は短いと思っていますし、

短いからこそ、日本人は桜を
こよなく愛するのだとも思っています。

この桜は1月末ころから咲き始めていますから、

通常よりもとても長く咲いていますね。

それはそれで、嬉しいことですが、全部の桜がこうであっては

興ざめに感じるかもしれません。

河津桜 (かわづざくら)
Kwazuzakura: one of cherry trees

The two cherry trees are in front of a torii: 

a gateway at the entrance to a Shinto shrine.

So you catch sight of this cherry blossom, 

even though you do not go in.

I remember the blossom before 
my hospitalization (2nd February to 8th). 

Even though here is close to home,

I could not walk and I only saw it from taxies.

I think cherry flowering time is very short, 
and for this reason, Japanese love it exceedingly.

However, this cherry blossom started in January, 

so this blossoms for much longer than usual. 

It is delightful itself, although if all cherries were like that, 

I might feel it spoils the pleasure.

3) 帰宅 / Come Home

This is in front of my house.

その家の梅

たくさんの観光客がこの梅を撮影します。

私も!　笑

この家とこの梅の組み合わせが

"鎌倉の春"

を感じさせるからでしょう。

The House's Ume

Many tourists take photograph of this ume.

Me too! Laugh

Because the ume's house is quite Japanese style so the combination of the house and the ume make people

"Spring in Kamakura"

doesn't it?

4) その後の散歩 / Another Day Walk

A. 春を感じる道 / The Footpath of Spring Feeling

春が生まれる場所 

同じ木に白とピンクの花 が咲きます。

Spring Arise

A tree has flowers of white and Pink.

このギャラリーさんの梅、
通るたびにシャッターをきってしまいます。

I cannot stop taking photographs of this UME 
in front of a gallery every time I pass it.

こどもの梅?

荏柄天神社 (えがらてんじんしゃ) 前に植樹されたばかりらしい梅？

精一杯春を表現しているようで、いじらしいじゃないですか？

Child Ume

It seems to have been planted recently in front of EGARA-TEMNJIN; spirit of Sugawara no Michizane who became god for study.

I felt that it showed a spring as much as it can. 
So it is innocent, isn't it?

こちらは白梅

どこを見ても花があって、気持ちがうきうきします。

Here is white Ume.

There are flowers everywhere, 
so my mood became cheerfully buoyant.

木瓜 (ぼけ) の花
英語の'quince'はマルメロと日本語に訳されています。

日本でマルメロは花梨とも言われていたり、

西洋圏でKarin (花梨) は'Karin' または

'Chinese quince' と言われていたり、ややこしいですね。

これらはみなバラ の仲間(バラ科) になるようです。

 
 Japanese quince
The 'quince' translates 'MARUMERO : 
マルメロ' English to Japanese,
and also in Japan, sometimes MARUMERO is called 'Karin'.
In Western countries, people called Karin or
Chinese quince for the plant.
It is quite complicated, isn't it?
Anyway, they are Rosaceae.

花梨の花 
木瓜 (ぼけ) の花言葉の中の
 ’妖精の輝き’ 
というのが気に入りました。
花梨の花も愛らしいと思いました。
梅も、木瓜も、花梨も、ごつごつした枝に、
はんなりした花が対照的なので、一層、花が可憐に見えます。

Karin's Flower

The Japanese quince in one of language of flowers, is the 
'Radiance Fairy' 
which became my favourite, 
and I think Karin's flower is quite sweet. (See Karin's picture)

The rugged angular branches of ume, Japanese quince and Karin, 

contrast with elegant flowers, so the flowers look even more sweet.

B.カジュアートスペース / Khaju Art Space

以前から気になっていた入り口。

中はいったいどうなっているの？

偶然、鎌倉の雑誌の中にここが載っているのを見つけました。

カジュアートスペースという名前で、染色と織物の工房があり、他にも何か工房になっているらしいと私は理解しました。

カジュは花樹とも書くようです。

今日はやっとこの門の中に入ってゆけます。

Khaju Art Space

I was curious about this gate what is down there?

By chance I found it in a magazine of Kamakura.

I understood that there is "Khaju Art Space" which seems to be a studio of textiles and dyeing, and other things.

The letter of Khaju is also 花樹: Flower and Tree.

Today, finally I could go through the gate.

うしろを振り返って、入り口を見る

鎌倉は狭い道を奥へ入ってゆくと、または登ってゆくと

"何かがある”

という事が多いと思います。

(ちょっと京都のよう？)

"何か"の前に道も撮影。

Take a backward glance to the entrance

I feel that often "Something" 
is there after going through or climbing a pass in Kamakura.

(Is it a little bit like Kyoto?)

Before "Something", I took a photograph looking backwards.

わ〜！素敵な空間！
 Wow! Attractive Space!

築80年を超す家

私は、この空間が好きです。

ものを作り出せる'気'がここにはあるように思え、何故彼らがここを活動の場として選んだのかがわかるような気がします。

主に染色、織物がメインの工房です。

梨木香歩さんの『からくりからくさ』の舞台設定は
こんな家なのかな〜？

 Over 80 Years Old House

I love this space.

I feel that here has an air which stimulate people's imagination and 
I understand why they chose here for their activities. 
There are mainly about textiles and dyeing, 
so it remains me of a book : Karakuri Karakusa by Kaho Nashiki, 
because the leading character worked for

textiles and dyeing in an old house.
