Rの学生時代からの友人、J&S夫妻を訪ねました。
翌日(13日)には、彼らに"ジョンズ・ガーデン

"ウィティック館と庭 / Wightwick Manor & Gardens" に、
連れて行ってもらいました。

彼らのおもてなしは、日本のおもてなしに匹敵するように私は感じます。
13日の晩の食事も素敵なパブ："The
Greyhound" に予約をしてくれていました。

On 12th of July I
and my husband R, visited R's
friends, J&S couple,
who have been friends with R since
they were in university, and who now live in Wolverhampton.
Next
day (13th), they took us to "John's
Garden (at Ashwood Nurseries)"
and "Wightwick
Manor & Gardens".

J&S are very good at hospitality and make me feel warm everywhere I go.
I
feel their hospitality is comparable to Japanese hospitality : "Omotenashi".
They
booked a lovely pub :"The Greyhound" for our
evening meal on the 13th.

比較的大きな駐車場はあるのですが、私たちが到着した時は満車でした。
Jが近くで車を止められる場所を探してくれたので、私たちはそのままパブへ入りました
予約をしても、食事の席は飲み物を飲みながら、待ちました。
この流れは、英国の人気のパブではよくある傾向に思います。
There
is a relatively large car park, but it was full when we arrived.
We
went to the pub directly, as J looked for a place to stop the car
nearby.
Even
if we made a reservation, we waited for a meal table while drinking.
I
think this trend is common in popular pubs in Britain.
