八百萬本舗
'八百萬本舗 (ヤオヨロズホンポ)' は、旧志村金物店の建物を
リノベーションして、使用しています。

場所は、浅野川大橋と橋場町交差点の間にあります。
主計町茶屋街 (カズエマチ
チャヤガイ)を後にした、
私の最初に目が止まり、またSちゃんも案内してくれました。
Yaoyorozu-honpo
'Yaoyorozu-honpo'
uses the building of
the
former Shimura hardware store after renovation.

The shop is between the Asano River Big Bridge and Hashiba-machi
Intersection.
The
shop was the first thing I was interested in after Kazue-machi Chaya District
and
also S chan guided us.

 いろいろなお店が入っています(★)。 There are a few shops in the building.  蔵を利用したスペースには、北陸の食品が並びます。 Foods from Hokuriku region line up in a space that was the storehouse : Kura.  "ひゃくまんさんの家" 'ゆるキャラ'、ひゃくまんさんグッズが揃っています。 "Hyakuman-san no Ie": Hakuman-san's House There are many goods of 'Yuru-chara', 'Hyakuman-san'. 
豪華なキャラクターですね。
There is a figure of 'Hyakuman-san' in a tatami-room on the first floor.
The figure was the motif of Ishikawa Prefecture's local toy
"Kaga Hachiman Okiagari",
the design utilized a Kaga Yuzen pattern and the Five Kutani colours,
the body and eyebrows are gold leaf and the beard is Wajima lacquer.
It is a luxurious character, isn't it?

彼女らが非常に嬉しそうに写った写真をここでお見せできないのが残念です。
ひゃくまんさんの背中には「石川県」と書かれているそうですが、彼女らは見たでしょうか？
I
was wearing long boots which I had difficulty taking off, so I did not
enter to the tatami-room, though S chan and H chan
did, and then I took photographs of them with 'Hyakuman-san'.
It
is too bad that I cannot show the photographs of them who look very
happy.
I
heard that "Ishikawa Prefecture" is written on the back of 'Hyakuman-san', did they see?

3) 夕暮れ時の金沢城 / Kanazawa Castle at Dusk
夕暮れ時に金沢城公園内を通りました。
Sちゃんが私達の夕飯のために、リサーチ、予約してくれたレストランへの近道でした。
退園時間がせまっていたので、ちょっと早足で、気も急きましたが、夕暮れ時のお城の風景は素敵でした。
Kanazawa Castle at Dusk
We walked through the Kanazawa Castle Park at dusk.
The route was the shortest to a restaurant which S chan researched and reserved for our dinner.
The park's closing time was very soon, we were a little quick pace and I felt a bit pressed, however, the scenes with the Castle at dusk were lovely.

ほんの少しですが、金沢城の歴史に触れると、金沢城下も含め、火事が多いな〜という印象を受けます。
江戸時代は比較的安定をしていたので、戦火というのはないのではと思います。
224年の間に52回の大火が記録されているそうです。
どうしてこんなに多かったのでしょう？
どうしてこんなに多かったのでしょう？
復興もなんども果たしているのは、さすが、'加賀百万石'！
次回の金沢旅行で金沢城を訪ねた時にもう少し深くリサーチしたいと思います。
今回は、櫓が夕暮れ色に染まる美しさを優先。
私の写真では表現しきれませんが、雰囲気が感じていただけることを願っています。
 菱櫓 2001年に復元されました。 菱櫓は、その名前が示すように、菱形の建物 (内角：100度、80度)で、 柱もすべて菱形なのだそうです。 ア〜っ、次回、菱形の柱を見てみたいです。 Hishi Yagura It was restored in 2001. 'Hishi' in Japanese means diamond shape : lozenge with internal angles of 100 degrees and 80 degrees. The building and its pillars are diamond shaped. Well, I really want to see diamond shape pillars next time. |
Although
my researching about Kanazawa Castle's history was only a little, my
impression is that there were many fires, including fires in Kanazawa Castle
Town.
I
think that they were not fires in war, because it was relatively stable
in the Edo period.
I
heard that 52 big fires were recorded over 224 years.
Why
was it so many?
Indeed! 'Kaga Hyakumangoku', Kaga Domain, could afford reconstruction many
times!
('Kaga
Hyakumangoku' means that Kaga Domain had the largest
Kokudaka as stipend of all the Daymyō, over 1 milion Kokudaka = 'Hyakumangoku',
so 'Kaga Hyakumangoku' is still often referred to as 'the wealthy area'.)
I
would like to research a bit deeper when I visit Kanazawa Castle on
my next trip to Kanazawa.
In
this section (in this time), priority is given to the beauty of
Yagura : turret in sunset.
My
photographs here are not enough to capture the beauty, though I hope that you can
feel the atmosphere.

金沢城と言えば、石垣、金沢城は、'石垣の博物館'と呼ばれています。

これも次回の金沢旅行での希望事項のひとつです。
いつ次回があるかはわかりませんが....。

Speaking of Kanazawa Castle, "Ishigaki" : "Stone Walls", the Kanazawa Castle is called 'Ishigaki Museum' ; Stone Walls Museum.
