➊ シュルーズベリ、a)クオーリー公園、ディングル - 池周辺 / Shrewsbury, a) Quarry Park, The Dingle - Around Lake. 8th of July, 2015

クオーリー公園は、単に' ザクオーリー / The Quarry'と呼ばれます。

1719年に作られ、29エーカー (117,363㎡ : 約東京ドーム2個半) の広さがあります。

中心は、ザディングル / The Dingleで、もとは採石場であった場所を
シュロプシャー園芸協会 / Shropshire Horticultural Society
によって、たくさんの花壇や小さな湖 ( 池かな〜？) や噴水を用いて造園され、
1879年に公開されました。

The Quarry Park is called just 'The Quarry' and was created in 1719.

There are 29 acres.

The centrepice to the park is 'The Dingle', a former stone quarry and then Shropshire Horticultural Society made the garden with many flower beds, pond and a fountain from 1875 to 1879.

シュルーズベリの南西にあります。
There is the South West of Shrewsbury.

ディングルの入り口
ディングルは地上よりも低い位置に作られた庭で、
外からは中の様子がほとんど見えません。
私たちはここから (上の写真) 入りましたが、正門は下の写真のようです。
私たちは正門から出ました。

The Entrances of The Dingle
The Dingle is a sunken garden, and we cannot almost see inside from outside.
We entered to the gate (above), though it seems to be the main gate (below).
