M and D君の結婚式 / M and D Kun's Wedding -15th of September in Yokohama, 2014

英国で友人になったMがD君と日本で結婚しました。

In Britain, I became friends with M who got married with D Kun in Japan.

ウエルカムボード
ウエルカムボードをリトグラフで制作させていただきました。
二人の幸せをいのりながら....

デコレーションの花に選んだのはコスモス。
コスモスの花言葉は、'乙女の真心'、'調和'、'少女の純潔'。
この花の説明に、
"とてもたくましい生命力を持ち、
どんな雨や風でも必ず立ち直ってすぐに花をつけます。"
とありました。

ブーケの花はガーベラ。花言葉は、'希望' '究極の愛'。

Welcome Board 
While I hoped for their happiness, I made them a welcome board by lithograph.
I chose Cosmos for the decoration flowers, 
because in the language of flowers Cosmos are
'True heart of the young girl'  'Harmoious' 'Purity of the girl', and
the explanation says that
"It has very stout vitality, even though it has any rain or wind,
it is sure to recover and blossom immediately." 

The bouquet in the board is Gerbera.
Gerbera are "Hope" and "Ultimate Love".

というのをウエルカムボード制作後に聞きました！
ボードはブルーとピンクの２色作っていたので、良かった〜！
ピンクは寄せ書きに使っていただきました。

 'Blue type is their theme colour for their wedding'
After I made the lithographs, I heard this!
I was relieved, I had made a blue welcome board and another one in pink.
They used the pink one for collecting messages.

彼女のウェディングドレス、とても彼女に似合っていました。

Her wedding dress suited her well!

Mはドレスをウィンブルドンで買いました。
あちらでも友人達とのウェディングパーティで披露しています。

Mは、英国の思い出とともに結婚したのよね？

M bought her dress in Wimbledon.
She wore the dress for their wedding party in Britain.

 M, you had the wedding in Japan with the memory of Britain, didn't you?

かわいい花嫁さんと穏やかな花婿さん
きらきら輝いていた二人です。

Cute Bride and Calm Bridegroom 
The couple were twinkle twinkle.

縁起の良いレンコン

孔が空いていることから見通しがきくので、先見性のあることを象徴し、
また、レンコンには種が多いことから '多産' という意味もあるそうです。

どのお料理もワインも美味しかったです。

料理が変わるたびにカップルが各テーブルを廻って一緒にお話をしながら、
食事をするのは良いアイディアだと思いました。

Lucky Renkon: Lotus Root

They say you can see far ahead through its holes, it is symbolic of foresight 

and also it has many seeds which shows a prolific couple.

Every dish and all the wines were delicious.

I think that it was a good idea that the couple ate each dish at a different table and 
so could talk with many guests.

英国風  (３段重ね) とアメリカ風 (四角い形) があわさった
ウェディングケーキ。
そして紅白は日本。
ここは、日本だな〜と感じます。

The wedding cake is mixed British style : three layers,
with American : a rectangular shape .
Moreover, "Red and White" are Japan.
I feel here is Japan.

素敵な結婚式でした。
お幸せに〜！
