リトグラフ工房へ行く道はいくつかあり、そのときの気分で変えています。
この日は八雲神社前を通りました。
There are a few ways to walk to the lithograph studio, I decide depending on my feeling on each occasion.
Today, I passed Yagumo Shrine.

| 何度もこの前は通るのに、私はまだこの境内に入ったことはありません。 おまつり (例大祭) が近いような飾り付けでした。 I pass here many times, although I have never visited this shrine. Their decorations look like they will have a festival soon.  |

| 空き地にいた猫 何度か見かけましたが撮影できたのは初めてです。 いつも、かっこいい猫だな〜と思っています。 鎌倉の侍のようでしょう？と言っても 鎌倉の侍を誰も見た事がないからわからないですよね。 まあ、雰囲気で... Cat on empty land I have seen it a few times, although this is my first photograph. Always I feel this cat is cool. It looks like a Kamakura Samurai, doesn't it? Even though I say like this, nobody has seen a Kamakura Samurai, so you do not understand, well it is just my imagination.... |

| 本覚寺の蓮 このお寺は通り抜けにたびたび使用します。 まあ、地元の人はほぼしてますけれど... 私は帽子をとって、本堂と夷堂に頭だけはさげて通りますが、 お守りなどを買ったことは一度もありません... 鎌倉で各お寺で何かを買っていたら破産してしまう〜！(笑) 本覚寺: ★ Lotus in Hongaku-ji / Hongaku Temple I go through in this temple many times. Well, most locals do... I only take my hat off and bow for Hondo: main building and Ebisudo, nor have I bought their charm and so on. If I bought something in every temple in Kamakura, I might be broke ~! (laugh)

夏の苔丸、鎌倉山
バス停前にあるので、バスを待つ間いつも草木を楽しませてもらっています。

They are in front of my bus stop, so I always enjoy their plants
while I wait for the bus.
Sometimes I buy plants and soil here.

| ポインセチアの一つらしい... ショウゾウソウかも？ It seems to be one type of poinsettia... Maybe Euphorbia cyathophora? |

| こちらはハイビスカスの一つでしょうか？ わかりません...でも元気いっぱいなのはわかります。 Is this a kind of Hibiscus? I do not know...but I can see the blossom is vigorous. |

| 下川橋より この橋は、今夏発見した通り道にあり、滑川 (ナメリガワ) にかかっています。 このサギはコサギと呼ばれる種類のようです。 From Shimokawa Bridge I found this bridge this summer as one of my way to the studio, it is across Nameri River. This seems to be a 'Little Egret'.  |

路地裏の蝶
鎌倉ではこの写真の蝶よりも大きなものを時々見かけますが、
撮影が難しい。この写真はましな方なのです。
Butterfly in a Back Alley
Sometimes I see bigger butterflies than this in Kamakura,
although photographing them is quite difficult for me,
so this is one of my better photographs.

| 下川橋より 8月にコサギを見かけた滑川で今度はカモがいました。 カモは夫婦か家族連れが多いけれど、この子は一人で寛いでいました。 ときには一人で休みたいのは人間も鳥も同じなのかしら？？？ コサギは獲物を狙っていたのでしょうけれど 鴨は休憩場として使用しているのが面白い。 From Shimoka Bridge There is a duck in the Nameri River where I saw a 'Little Egret' here in August. Often Ducks are in a couples or a family, although this one is by itself. Sometimes we would be alone in a rest time, birds might be the same??? The 'Little Egret' would hunt, although the duck uses here for his rest time, it is quite interesting.   |

| 芙蓉 (フヨウ) 淡いピンクが夏には、涼しげです。 今まで私は知りませんでしたが、朝咲いて夕方にはしぼむ '一日花' です。 次から次に咲くので嘆く事はないと言いますが、 知ってしまうと芙蓉の花を見る目がちょっと変わります。 Hibiscus Mutabilis Pale pink looks cool in summer. I did not know before today that this is a 'Day Flower' which blossoms in the morning and then withers in the evening, although it blossoms day after day, so they say you do not have to grieve. However, after I knew this, I feel differently when I see the flowers of Hibiscus Mutabilis. |

| 『一日の花を摘め』または『一日を摘め』という格言があります。 古代ローマのホラティウス (BC 65 - BC8) の詩の中に出ていて、 「今この瞬間を楽しめ」「今という時を大切に使え」 と解釈するようです。 そう考えると'一日花'が明るく思えますし、 自分も楽しくなります！ There is "Carpe Diem" in a Latin sphorism which means "Seize the Day", 'You should enjoy now' or 'You should use carefully'. This comes from a poem by the poet Horace (65 BC - 8 BC) in Ancient Rome. If I think about Day Flowers like that, I could see cheerful flowers and be happy.  |
