最初に八千穂駅から 、山梨県北杜市 (ホクトシ) の小淵沢(コブチザワ)駅 まで
小海線 (コウミセン)で行き、そこで中央本線に乗り換えて、ようやく松本駅に
到着。
八ヶ岳連峰をぐる〜っと廻って行くという感じ。
車を利用すると'佐久- 松本間' は登り降りはあるにしても電車に比べれば、まっすぐな行程にあります。
そのルートを地図で見ると人間の自然に対する強欲さをちょっぴり感じます。
ところで、この中央本線は、あの東京-高尾間を走る中央線の延長であることを
知り、ちょっとした驚きを感じました。
そのうえこの線は、名古屋駅まで続いているのです!......驚くのは私だけですか？
Yachiho Station
First of all, we went from Yachiho Station to Kobuchizawa Station in Hokuto, Yamanashi Prefecture by Koumi Line, then changed to the
Chūō Main Line and then finally we arrived Matsumoto Station.
I felt we went around and around the Yatsugatake Mountains.
Yatsugatake Mountains are located on the border of Nagano Prefecture and Yamanashi Prefecture.
If people drive, they could go straight compared to the trains though the journey would be up and down.
When I look at the route of the roads on a map, I feel a little bit human's greed over nature.
By the way I noticed this Chūō Main Line is an extension of the Chūō Line ; between Tokyo and Takao which I found a little surprising.
Moreover this line leads down to Nagoya Station, again surprising, only for me?

| ホーム (の脇)で 冬の寒さで水道の凍結を防ぐためなのか、雰囲気を大切にしているためなのか... この場所を愛する気持ちや工夫が伝わってきます。 Beside, or even on the Platform I do not know if this is to protect the water tap from freezing in Winter or to keep a natural atmosphere here... anyway, I feel the love and the care for the place. |

| 来た〜！ この電車に乗りました。 ドアを自分の手で開けるのを知らなかったので、 戸惑っていたら車掌が助けに来てくれました。 Comin~g! We got on this train. Passengers open the train doors by hand. We did not know it, we were puzzled, and the conductor came to help us. |
2) 小海線 / Koumi Line

小海線は、小淵沢駅から長野県小諸市の小諸駅まで走るJR線で、'八ヶ岳高原線'という愛称を持っています。
下の説明板でも'八ヶ岳高原線'と書かれています。
標高1000mを越える高所を走る区間があり、途中JR鉄道最高地点の野辺山駅があります。
電車に乗ってから、このことを知ったというか、思い出しました。
こんな観光ができるとは思っていなかったので、忘れていたことは、結構良かったですよ。

Koumi Line
Koumi Line runs between 'Kobuchizawa Station' and Komoro Station in Nagano Prefecture, also its nickname is 'Yatsugatake - Kougen (Highland) - Line'.
Even their explanation board uses 'Yatsugatake - Kougen (Highland) - Line' rather than Koumi Line, above.
The A section in the line is more than 1000m altitude and Nobeyama Station of the line is the highest of all JR stations.
After I got on the train, I knew or I remembered about them.
I did not expect sightseeing like this, my forgetting was quite good.

A.千曲川 / Chikuma River

| 千曲川 (チクマガワ) だと思います....? この川は新潟県にゆくと、信濃川 (シナノガワ)と呼ばれます。 どちらの響きもきれい！水もきれい！ I think Chikuma River....? In Nigata Prefecture, this river is called Shinano River. Both sound beautiful, the water is clean!   |

松本に到着、'軽井沢ビール'を買い、チェックイン、ホテルでビールを美味しく飲みました。
そして蕎麦屋へ出かけました。
そう、やっぱり、長野ですから蕎麦です！
We arrived in Matsumoto, bought local beer: 'Karuizawa Beer', checked into our hotel, enjoyed drinking in our room and went out for our dinner.
Oh! Yes! Of course Soba in Nagano! Nagano's popular product is Soba.

C. 野辺山 / Nobeyama

| 標高 1,345.67m! ここには'国立天文台 野辺山 : ★' があります。 行ってみたい！毎年、1年に１度、施設公開をしています。 Altitude 1,345.67m! Here, 'Nobeyama Station' is the JR highest Station. National Astronomical Observatory : ★' take 4 minutes by a taxi from this station. I want to go! They open to the public one day every year.  |

| 高校生のときに卒業旅行で友人と来た清里は隣の駅。 野辺山という名前は記憶しているけれど、 この駅に降り立ったかどうかわかりません。 When I had a graduating high school trip with friends, we visited Kiyosato which is a station next to Nobeyama. I remember the name Nobeyama, although I do not know if we got off here. |
