巨大きのこ / Giant Mushrooms - 22nd of August, 2014

久しぶりに家の裏を見たら、巨大きのこがありました。

鎌倉に暮らし始めて、庭や鉢にきのこが生えることに慣れ始めていましたが、

これにはびっくり！

I hadn't looked behind my house for a long time, I found giant mushrooms.

Now that I live in Kamakura, I am getting used to seeing mushrooms in my garden or pots, however, I was surprised by this.

きのこなのか、毒きのこなのか？
試す勇気はありません。

Are they mushrooms or toadstools?
I do not have enough bravery to try them.

赤ちゃんの顔くらいの大きさです。
The size is similar to a baby's  face.

焦点が葉っぱにあってしまいました。
でも厚さがご理解いただけるかと....。
ホットケーキのようと思うのですが、いかがでしょう？
でも美味しそうとは思えません。

The focus is on a leaf. Whoops!
But you might understand their thickness.
I think they look like pancakes, how about you?
However, I do not think they seem to be delicious.
