英国滞在も残り少なくなり、セントラルロンドンへ、慌てて出かけています。
この日は、 フォートナム&メイソンへ。
I was running out of time in Britain and I was in a hurry to go to Central London.
On this day, I and my husband R went to Fortnum & Mason.

| いつもは1階を見て、食料品売り場の地下へ行くのですが、 今回は地下から見ました。 高級食材が並んでいます。 見るだけの私。 I usually look at the ground floor and go to the basement, the grocery area, but this time I began in the basement. High-class ingredients are lined up. I just look. |

日本はグルメの国で、色々な食材があります。
でもラズベリーはスーパーマーケットでは見かけません。
ブルーベリーは時々ありますね。

Japan is a gourmet country and has various ingredients.
But raspberries are not found in supermarkets.
There are blueberries from time to time.
3) ビスケット / Biscuits

カラフルな装飾
英国で、友人がこういうビスケットの絵を描くアルバイトをしていました。 その職場で働く人は、みんなアート大学出身かアート大学の学生でした。 この手のビスケットを日本では見なかったので、 すっかり、その存在を忘れていました。 英国では人気があるのかもしれません。
Colorful Decoration
In Britain, one of my friends had a part-time job drawing pictures on such biscuits.
The people who worked at the workplace were all
from art colleges or students of art colleges.
I haven't seen this kind of biscuit in Japan,
so I completely forgot about its existence.
They may be popular in Britain.

フォートナム&メイソンに来た殆どの観光客は、ほぼ1階のみを見るのではないかと思います。ぜひ、他の階も見て欲しい....。
フォートナム&メイソンは、食料品店でなく、百貨店です。
他の階は、次のセクシンに載せます。
Package
I think many tourists who come to Fortnum & Mason only see the ground floor.
Please take a look at the other floors ....
Fortnum & Mason is a department store, not just a grocery store.

パッケージが可愛い！
西洋の絵本の絵柄を感じます。
The packages are lovely!
I feel the pictures of Western picture books.
 お菓子類だけでなく、F&Mのほとんどのパッケージが可愛い！ Not only sweets, but most F & M packages are lovely! 
F&Mの表通りのウィンドウ・ディスプレイもとても有名です。
でも今回は撮影しませんでした。
あまり心に響かなかったのかもしれません。
The window displays on the main street of F & M are also very famous.
But I didn't photograph this time.
Maybe they didn't really touch my heart.

| ラベルが可愛らしいので、一通り撮影しました。 焦点がないものもありますがお許しを。 The labels are cute, so I took photographed. Some are out of focus, but please forgive me. |
パテ/ Pâté

糖質制限ダイエットを続けている友人カップルにお土産をと思い、
パテにしました。
思いの外、パテのラベルも素敵でまたまた撮影(笑)。
I selected a pâté for a friend couple who are on a low-carb diet.
Surprisingly, the pâté labels are also nice and I photographed them again (Laugh).

今夏、英国の友人宅で、
"プラウマンズ・ランチ" / "Ploughman's Lunch"
をご馳走になりました。
その時に付け合わせのピクルスなどが欲しかったので、
初めてF&Mでその手の食品を買ってみました。
プラウマンズ・ランチについては下記。
I wanted to buy pickles and so on which I had eaten as garnish in that lunch.

元々F&Mはピクニック用のハンパーが有名です。
なので、こういった保存食品は伝統的にあります。
Originally F & M is famous for picnic hampers.
So these preserved foods are traditional in F&M.
