前回に引き続き、シグトゥーナ博物館のセクションです。

鍵？
私は鍵も好きなものの1つです。
特に中世の大きな鍵は好き。
右上は顔がついていて(下の画像)、興味が引かれました。
Keys?
Keys are one of my favourite items.
I especially like the big keys of the Middle Ages.
At the top right, there was a face on it below, which made me interested.
 ヴァイキングの顔を表しています。 髭の感じがヴァイキング？ Shows the face of the Viking. Is the feeling of a bearded Viking?  鍵ではないようです。 'A mount of bronze' が何なのか、私にはわかりません。 額留めでしょうか？ It doesn't seem to be a key. I don't know what 'A mount of bronze' is. Is it a hook? |
2) 麻布 / Linen
麻布 (アサヌノ)と思われる生地に、色々な説明がされています。
麻布を使用するところがお洒落で、素敵。
There are various explanations on the fabric that seems to be linen.
Linen cloth is used which is a fashionable method of display and is lovely.

'異教に挑戦' : 'Heathendom is challenged'
北欧神話の神々は、キリスト教から見ると異教です。 地元民からすれば、キリスト教が異教ですが、 キリスト教徒は決して自分たちが異教だとは思いませんね... そのあたりの感覚が傲慢に私は感じます。 私は北欧神話が好きです。 'Heathendom is challenged' The Gods of Norse mythology are pagan from a Christian perspective. Christians are pagan to the locals, but Christians never think they are pagan... I feel arrogance in the Christians. I like Norse mythology .  |

3) 馬 / Horses

シグトゥーナの馬
ダーラヘストです。
シグトゥーナにも有名な馬がいます。
私が博物館で最初にその馬を見つけたのは床に近い壁でした。
Sigtuna Horse
One of the famous Swedish souvenirs is Dala horse which
is a traditional carved, painted wooden statue of a horse originating in Dalarna.
Sigtuna also has a famous horse.
The first reference I found to the horse in the museum was
by the wall near the floor. |

12世紀頃、プレストガタン通り(Prästgatan)は、5つの教会が並んでいました。

男女、子供含む19の遺骨は粗雑に埋葬され、全てが剣で首を落とされていました。
それでも、キリスト教にしたがった埋葬の仕方でした。
歴史ある町では、色々なことがあり、それは良いことばかりではありません。
博物館は、負の歴史と思えるこのようなことも、きちんと展示しています。

Prästgatan Street
Around the 12th century, five churches were lined up on the Prästgatan street.
"In 1997, a mass grave from the end of the 10th century was found underneath the street Prästgatan in Sigutuna."
Nineteen bodies, above, including men and women and children, were roughly buried and all decapitated with a sword.
Still, it was a burial method according to Christianity.
There are so many things in a historic town that are not all good.
The museum also properly exhibits such things, even negative history.

私にとって、シグトゥーナ観光のメインは、ルーン石碑でした。
シグトゥーナには、他のどこよりも、ルーン石碑が多く保存され、町の散策マップにも記載されています。
私達は、ルーン石碑を追って、町を歩きました。
もちろん、博物館にもルーン石碑の展示がありました。
通常、ルーン石碑の文字や装飾は赤ですが、博物館では黒、または色がない状態で展示されていました。

More than anywhere else, Sigtuna preserves more Runestones and they are also listed on the town walk map.
We walked through the town following the Runestones.
Of course, the museum also had Runestones exhibit.
Usually, the letters and ornaments on Runestones are red, but they were exhibited in the museum in black or colourless.

6) 装飾品 / Ornaments
私は、スウェーデンのセンスが思った以上に好きなのかもしれません。
あちらこちらに見られる装飾品、近代のもの、伝統的なもの含めて、好みでした。
I may now like Swedish taste more than I had felt.
I loved the decorations found here and there, modern and traditional.

これは見るのみ / This is only for looking at. 素朴で可愛らしい木彫は珍しく感じます。 The simple and pretty wood carving feels unusual. |
私がブログに取り上げた博物館の展示物は一部です。
他にも、興味深い展示はありました。
博物館はメインストリートのストラガタン通り / Stora Gatan Streetにあるので、シグトゥーナを訪れたら、寄って見てください。
でも、私の印象では、シグトゥーナは、多くの最古なものを保存しているので、町全体が野外博物館のようなものでした。
メーラレン湖のほとりは、ゆったりした雰囲気なので、お散歩にも最適です。
ただ刺激を求めるだけの海外旅行なら、シグトゥーナは合わないかもしれませんが、北欧の文化に興味があれば、かなり面白い地に感じます。
アーランダ空港も近いので、文化に興味があれば、スゥエーデン入りした当初か、最終に、一泊か二泊するのも良いのかなと思いました。

There are other interesting exhibits.
If you visit Sigtuna, please visit the museum, it is on Stora Gatan Street, the main street.
In fact, my impression is that Sigtuna has preserved many of the oldest things, so the whole town was like an open air museum.
The shore of Lake Mälaren has a relaxing atmosphere, so it is also ideal for a walk.
Sigtuna may not suit you if you're traveling abroad just to require strong stimuli, but if you're interested in Nordic culture, it's quite an interesting place.
Arlanda Airport is also near, so if you are interested in culture, I thought it might be a good idea to stay for one or two nights at the beginning or the end of entering Sweden.

| 公園への入り口 右手に小さな、無人の公立図書館 (下の画像) があります。 この図書館といい、ルーン石碑に危害がないところといい、 この周辺の治安の良さがわかります。 Entrance to the Park To the right is a small, unmanned public library, below. This library exists and there is no harm to the Runestones, I can see the safety of this area.  旧市街・ガムラスタンでもこの箱を見ました。 I think it was originally a public telephone booth. I also saw this type of booth in the old town, Gamla stan.   |

| この建物も何かな？カフェかな？ と思って撮影しました。 撮影した時は知りませんでしたが、映画館 : ★でした。 "What is this building? Is it a cafe?" I wondered as I was photographing. I didn't know when I photographed it, but it is a film theatre : ★.
