カットブルー
金液を使用する前にコーティングする青い液
: "カットブルー"です。
初めて使用します。 Cut Blue A blue solution : "Cut Blue" needs to coat the area for before the gold solution. This was the first time I used this method. |
2) ラスター焼成 / Lustre Firing

| 金液と金茶ラスターを使用しました。 I used gold solution and gold-brown lustre. |

金茶ラスターが古かったせいか、塗り方が悪かったせいか、
焼成後、ボロボロと塊になって落ちてしまいました。 ですが、それを落とすとペールピンクになっていました。 「これはいい！」 焼成は思った通りにゆかないことも多々ありますが、 思っても見なかった良い結果も多々あります。 私にとっては陶芸はそこが大きな魅力の一つです。
Perhaps
the gold-brown lustre was old, or it was painted badly,
after
firing, some peeled away.
However,
when I cleaned them off the works were pale pink.
"This
is good!"
There
are many cases where firing is not as expected, but
there
are many good results that I could not have guessed.
For
me, this is one of the great attractions of Ceramics.

金
この金液の焼成の時はまだ、"カットブルー"がありませんでした。
金が流れがちになるので、"カットブルー"の購入を決めました。 ですが、Rが流れた感じが良いというので、 今後、金液をこのような使い方をする時に "カットブルー"を使用するべきか、決めかねています。
Gold
When I had the firing with this gold solution, I didn't have the "Cut Blue".
I had decided to buy "Cut Blue" because the gold tends to
flow.
However, R commented that the flows are a good feeling,
so I
cannot decide whether to use "Cut Blue"
when I want use gold for objects in the future.

私の個性
いくつかのお皿に "カットブルー" を使用しましたが、
"カットブルー"そのものがうまく使用できず、 その良さがあまり感じられません。 別の言い方をすれば、どんな素材を使用しても 私の個性(不器用さ）がでるのです。 My Personality
I used "Cut Blue" for some dishes,
I cannot use "Cut Blue" very well and the results are not so good .
In other words, whichever material is used, my personality (clumsiness) appears. |
3) 素焼と本焼き / Bisque Firing and Glaze Firing
素焼
黒のスリップ (下絵の具)
を使用しました。
Bisque
Firing
I
used a black slip.

本焼き
黒のスリップは藍よりも濃く出るけれど、
ガラス釉をかけるために、濃い藍色に見えます。
Glaze Firing
Blue glass glaze covered the black slip, so now the black appears dark indigo.
