❽東北旅行 / Tōhoku Trip - 1) 仙台; 瑞鳳殿 / Sendai ; Zuihōden , 28th of April, 2015

1) "るーぷる仙台" / "Loople Sendai" 

仙台観光のために、"るーぶる仙台"というバスチケットを、宿泊したホテルで購入しました。

出発はJR仙台駅前 (❶) からで、私達は瑞鳳殿前 (❹) で最初に下車しました。

We bought bus tickets for "Loople Sendai" in the hotel where we stayed. 

The start bus stop is in front of JR Sendai station (❶), we first got off at Zuihōden (❹).

2) 経ヶ峯伊達家墓所 
    KYOUGAMINE DATEKE BOSHO

瑞鳳殿 (ズイホウデン) は、 伊達政宗 (1567 - 1636) を祀る霊廟です。
公式HP  : ★

松島、瑞巌寺 (ズイガンジ)内にある、
政宗の正室、愛姫 (マゴヒメ / 1568 - 1653) の墓堂の
陽徳院御霊屋 (ヨウトクインオタマヤ) ; 
(❷東北旅行 / Tōhoku Trip - 2) 松島; 瑞巌寺 / Matsushima ; Zu...)や、
政宗の孫、  伊達 光宗 (1627 -1645) の墓である
円通院;  (❸東北旅行 / Tōhoku Trip - 3) 松島; 円通院 / Matsushima ; En...) 
はすでに訪れました。

なんとなく、順番が逆になったような気がしますが、ようやく、政宗自身のお墓にやってきました。

お墓といっても、とても広い敷地 (実は公園でした)で、雰囲気は神社のように感じられ、政宗の存在が、代々仙台の人々には、神に近いような存在で崇められているからなのではと想像しました。

「守成 (シュセイ) の名君」と評された二代目藩主、政宗の息子、 伊達 忠宗 (1600 - 1658) の霊廟: 感仙殿 もここにあります。

瑞鳳殿の本殿: 政宗の霊廟は、もとは忠宗によって1637年に建てられたものですが、仙台空襲 (1945) の際に全焼しました。(感仙殿、善応殿も）

現在の霊廟は、1985年に復元されたものです。

息子の忠宗 は、政宗の菩提寺(香華院)として瑞鳳寺 (ズイホウジ)も創建しました。

伊達家のお家騒動 (伊達騒動 / 綱宗隠居事件) の真っ只中にいた、三代藩主、
綱宗 (1640 -1711) の霊廟、善応殿 (ゼンノウデン)もここにあります。


後に、この周囲は' 経ケ峯歴史公園 (キョウガミネコウエン)' であり、
経ヶ峯伊達家墓所となっていると知りました。

これらを含めて "瑞鳳殿" と呼ばれているようにを私には思えました。

 KYOUGAMINE DATEKE BOSHO

Zuihoden is Mausoleum of Date Masamune (1567 - 1636).

In Matsushima, we visited Masusoleum of Masamune 's wife : 
Magohime (1568 - 1653) in Zuiganji 
(❷東北旅行 / Tōhoku Trip - 2) 松島; 瑞巌寺 / Matsushima ; Zu...) and 
Masusoleum of his grandson: Mitsumune (1627 -1645) in Entsuin  
(❸東北旅行 / Tōhoku Trip - 3) 松島; 円通院 / Matsushima ; En...) . 

Somehow I felt the sequence was back to front, we visited his grave : Masusoleum last of all in Sendai. 

Although called the grave, there are huge areas (actually in a park).

I felt there is a shrine area and I guess Masamune has been worshiped like a God by local people for a long time.

The "Kansenden" : Mausoleum of Masamune 's son, Tadamune (1600 - 1658)  who they said was a wise ruler, is here, too. 

The original main building : Zuihouden was built by Tadamune in 1637, however, 
it was completely burned down by the Bombing of Sendai in World War II in 1945.
(Kansenden and Zennouden, too)

The current buildings were rebuilt in 1985.

Tadamune also built Zuihoji-Temple of the Date Family or Masamune.

The Zennouden : Mausoleum of the third lord Tsunamune (1640 -1711)  is here too, and he was at the centre of Date sodo. 

Later I knew the surrounding area is the Park: 
"Kyougamine Rekishi Kouen: Kyougamine History Park" and also 
there is Kyougamine Date Bosho ;  Date graves for generations in Kyougamine.

When people say Zihouden, they seem to mean the park including the graves.

坂道を登ると、瑞鳳殿の前に瑞鳳寺があります。

After the hill, there is Zuihouji-Temple.

瑞鳳寺を出ると石段が続いています。
よし！がんばろう！

几帳面な石段です。こういう綺麗な石段を誰かが根気強く作るのですね。

We went out from Zuihouji-Temple, a stone stairway continues up and up.
"Cheer Up" Us!

The stone stairways are neat and regular. 
Somebody made them assiduously, didn't they?
Thank you for your good work!

This illustrated map was half way up our climb, which helped us!

瑞鳳殿に向かってさらに登ってゆきます。
前をゆく人もちょっと辛そう?
けれども木々に助けられます。

We carry on climbing towards Zuihoden.
A man climbing before us  seems to be having a tough time, doesn't he?
I was helped by the trees. 

到着〜〜！と思っても、まだ登りです....とほほ
Arrive~~! I thought, but still we must climb... boohoo!

神社のような雰囲気だったのですが、
説明などを読むとさすがにお墓であることを認識させられます。
瑞鳳殿を撮影する気持ちがなくなってしまいました。
なので、本殿はパンフの写真で見てください。

There had a shrine atmosphere for me,
although if I read the explanation I would have known here is grave.
I lost my motivation for taking photographs.
So you see the main building photographs from the pamphlet.

ぼけててすみません。 / No Focus! Sorry!

鎌倉でも見かける花、シャガ
花は1日しかもたない (一日花 / イチニチバナ)ようなので、
この花とも一期一会です。

Iris japonica, I see it in Kamakura, too.
The flower only blossoms for one day, I see this 'Ichigo Ichie' which means
'Treasure every encounter, for it will never recur'.

木々が素敵 / Trees are lovely

感仙殿に向かいます。
感仙殿は、伊達政宗の息子であり、仙台藩二代目藩主 伊達 忠宗の霊廟です。

We continue towards "Kansenden" : 

Mausoleum of the second lord, Masamune 's son,  Tadamune.

瑞鳳殿を撮影しなかったことに多少後悔し、
ここは撮影しました。

I slightly regretted that I did not take a photograph of Zuihouden,
so I photographed here. 


瑞鳳殿同様、1945年仙台空襲により全焼、
1985年に復元されました。

As Zuihouden, this was completely  burned down
by the Bombing of Sendai in World War II in 1945 and rebuilt in 1985.

次はいよいよ青葉城。

私は青葉城は、鎌倉の大仏のような観光地、と思っています。

お城のあとは何もないと知ってはいましたが、あの有名な伊達政宗像があるので、それを一目見るべく、向かいました。

→ 再び、"るーぶる仙台"！

Next, we went towards Aoba Castle at last.

I think the castle for Sendai is as much a tourist point as the Daibustu is for Kamakura.

I knew there are no ruins left of the castle, however, there is a popular statue of Date Masamune, so I would see it once and we were going to go there!

→ "Loople Sendai" again!
