花形のお城 / Castle, in the Shape of the Flower

'Deal Castle / ディール カッソル' は花形をしています。
ここもイングリッシュ•ヘリテッジ / English Heritage
が管理しています。

'Deal Castle' is in a flower shape.
Here English Heritage manages, too.

あまり、強い意志もありませんでしたが、
とにかくこの近くに居ましたし、ドーバーには
そうそうは来ないでしょうと思い、寄りました。

I did not have strong opinion for the castle,
although anyway we were close to it,
and I thought we will not often come  to Dover,
so we visited here.

ここでも'オーディオガイド'がありますが、
日本語はありません。
英語のガイドに従って敷地内を歩きますが、
結局迷ってしまい、どこを説明されているのか
わからなくなってしまいました。
私の英語力のなさもありますが、Rも迷ってしまいました。

Here has 'Audio Guide', too.
However, they do not have Japanese.
I followed guide in English, although I confused then
I did not know where it explained in the area.
The reason might be my poor English,
although R was similar to me.

Entrance Bridge / エントランス ブリッジ 

ゲートのそばに鳩がいます。
かもめも鳩もどこにでもいます。

The pigeon is close to the gate.
The pigeons and seagulls are everywhere. 

このお城はヘンリー8世 (1491 - 1545) が1530年代に、
ヨーロッパのカソリック勢力からの攻撃に備えて作りました。
ヘンリー8世も、どこのお城の歴史にも登場します。
ヘンリーくん、君は鳩やカモメのように貪欲ですね。

This castle was built by Henry Ⅷ (1491 - 1545)
against an attack from the Catholic powers in Europe.
Henry Ⅷ  was in the history of every castle.
Henry, you were as greedy as a pigeon or seagull, weren't you?

天井
城攻めされた時に、ここから異物を落としたり、
攻撃をしたりします。
英国の多くのお城にも、日本のお城にも、
似たようなものがありますね。

Ceiling
If the castle had an attack, 
they could drop foreign body on the enemies and harass them here.
These kind of things are often British Castles, 
Japanese Castles as well.

Gatehouse Bastion / ゲートハウス バッション：門の要塞

海と砂浜がきれい！
Sea and Beach are Lovely!

お城のなかに入るとくるくるまわって、
どこにいるのか、何階にいるのかわからなくなります。

When I was in the castle, I went around and around,
then I did not know where I was, on which floor I stood.

上の階は、階級が上の人たちが居ました。
Upper classes were in upper floor.
