渡邊 加奈子 (ワタナベ カナコ / 1979 ~) さんは、 版画界ではすでにその実力を認められ、 数々の賞を受賞し、個展やグループ展のほとんどが 画廊の企画展として開催されています。 この個展も養清堂画廊の企画展です。 Kanako Watanabe (1979 ~) has already been recognized for her ability in the print world and has won many awards, and most of her solo and group exhibitions are held as special exhibitions by galleries. 私は、表参道のギャラリー412 (Galerie412) のメインスタッフのChizukaさんを介して、渡邊 加奈子さんと出合い、'加奈子ちゃん'と呼ばせていただいています。
実はChizukaさんが私に '加奈子ちゃん' を紹介してくださるに、彼女は、2017年にギャラリー412で開催した私の個展 : ★にいらしてくださっていたことを、後になって知りました。
嬉しい驚きでした。
2019年私の個展：★に出品する作品も、Chizukaさんと加奈子ちゃんは一緒に選んでくれました。
私は公私に渡り、加奈子ちゃんに感謝をしています。
Meeting
In 2019 I met Kanako Watanabe through Chizuka, the main staff of Galerie412 in Omotesando, Tokyo and I call her 'Kanako Chan'.
In fact, after Chizuka introduced me to Kanako Chan, I found out that she had visited my Exhibition in Galerie412 , 2017: ★.
It was a pleasant surprise.
Chizuka and Kanako Chan also helped me choose which of my works to exhibit in my exhibition in 2019 : ★.
I am grateful to Kanako Chan for both public and private life.
2) 作品 / Works
通常の撮影にフラッシュを使用しませんし、作品撮影にはなおのことフラッシュ撮影を控えます。
この会場でもそのように撮影しました。
実際の作品はずっと素晴らしいものですが、私の撮影がよくなく作品のレベルに到底達ていません...すみません。
とにかく、ここに載せます。

I don't use a flash for normal photographs, and I refrain from photographing with a flash, especially when photographing works.
I photographed like this here as well.
The actual works are much better, but my photographs are not good enough to reach the level of the works ... I'm sorry.
Anyway, I'll put them here.

| 優しく深いモノトーンで表現される世界がとても魅力的です。 和紙の表裏の両面に20〜30回印刷をするとこの時に知りました。 随分前ですが、日本画で金を使用する時に 両サイドに彩色する手法と その効果に感動したことを思い出しました。 それは山種美術館 (東京) だったと思います。 The world expressed in gentle and deep monotone is very attractive. 私は自分の作品素材として、和紙に興味を抱き始めたばかりです。
彼女の作品も和紙を使用しているとのこと、なお一層彼女の作品に惹かれます。
I have just begun to be interested in Washi as a material for my work.
Her work also uses Washi, and I am even more attracted to her work.

| 魅力的な作品群 ミステリアスな空間が広がり、 吸い込まれそうな気持ちになります。 いや、もう、作品に惹かれている時点で、 作品に吸い込まれているのかもしれません。 子宮の中でうつらうつらしている赤子の状態を 擬似体験しているようにも思えます。 また、深い森に踏み込んだような期待と不安が同時にあります。 Fascinating Works The mysterious space expands and makes me feel like I am being sucked in. No, it may be that I am already absorbed in the work when I am attracted to it. And also it seems that I am experiencing the state of a baby who is half asleep in the womb. Moreover, there are expectations and anxieties at the same time, that make me feel like I am stepping into a deep forest. |

"渡邊加奈子 木版画 : はつなつ展 "
で、初めて '加奈子ちゃん' の実際の作品を見て、欲しいな〜と思った作品でした。
"はつなつ展 "については下記。
ですが、その日は、ギャラリー412 に行く前に、"T-BOX" (中央区
八重洲) へ行き、召田 能里子 (メシダ ノリコ) さんの作品を1点購入していました。
召田 能里子個展については下記。

なので、 '加奈子ちゃん' の作品購入を控えました。
今回、もしも、同じ作品が展示されていたら、是非購入を！と思って出かけ、実現しました。
この時は、夫Rも一緒に彼女の個展に行くことができたので、正確には夫婦で買いました。
同じ作品をChizukaさんも購入していて、'作品ナンバー1' を持っていると加奈子ちゃんから聞きました。
親しい人、それもアート面で尊敬している人が同じ作品に惹かれたことを知ると嬉しくなります。
加奈子ちゃんが、希望の作品ナンバーを聞いてくれたので、"3" を選びました。
3は、ケルトの世界(ケルト文化)では、最強数字なのです。
また、自分のオブジェ作品にある、たくさんの'脚'も、実は3本脚のみで立っています。
友人の建築家のGさんいわく
「三本支柱は最も丈夫なんだよ」
とのこと。
なので、私は、作品ナンバー3を選びました。
Work Number
This purchased work was shown in Galerie412 in 2018,
"Kanako Watanabe Woodblock Print : Hatsunatsu Exhibition"
So, when I first saw the actual work of Kanako Chan, it was a work
I wanted.

However, on that day, before going to Galerie412, I had been to
About Mesuda Noriko's Exhibition, below.
Therefore, I refrained from purchasing the work of Kanako Chan.
I thought if the same work was on display this time, I would buy it!,
I went there and realized my hope.
This time, I and my husband R were able to go to this exhibition, so to be exact, we bought it as a couple.
I heard from Kanako Chan that Chizuka had also purchased the same work and has 'work number 1'.
It makes me happy to know that someone close to me, and someone I respect in terms of art, was attracted to the same work.
Kanako Chan asked me which work number I would hope for, so
I chose 3.
3 is the strongest number in the Celtic world (Celtic culture).
Also, many of the 'legs' in my object work actually stand on only three legs.
One of my friends, an architect, G San explained me
"Three struts are the strongest."
So I chose 'work number 3'.
B. 自宅で / At Home
後日(12月5日)個展終了後、養清堂画廊に作品をひき取りに行きました。
After the Exhibition, we visited Yoseidou Gallery to pick up her work on 5th of December.
 12月5日に養清堂画廊で開催されていた展覧会 すでに有名な方々ばかりのようでしたが 私は山中現 (ヤマナカ ゲン/ 1954 ~)さんしか知りませんでした。 品の良い展覧会でした。 |
 This exhibition was being held at Yoseidou Gallery on 5th of December It seemed that all the people were already famous, but I only knew of Gen Yamanaka (1954 ~). It was a good exhibition. |
自宅で / At Home
 幸せを運ぶものに囲まれて 作品の場所は、スポットライト下を選びました。 クリスマスシーズンだったので、オーナメントと一緒です。 のちにこのコーナーはこの作品だけになります。この作品は毎日私を幸せにしてくれます。 Surrounded by Things that Carry Happiness I chose to place the work under the spotlight. It was the Christmas season, so it was with ornaments. Later, this will be the only work in this corner. This work makes me happy every day. |
