私と夫のRは、"リートフェルトのシュレーダー邸 / Rietveld Schröder House" からセントラル博物館 / Centraal Museum" へ歩いて移動しました。
シュレーダー邸については下記。

シュレーダー邸は、'プリンス・ヘンドリックラーン' 通りに建っています。
公園の名前は、第4代オランダ女王、ウィルヘルミナ / Wilhelmina (1880 -1962 / 在位1890 - 1948) 女王に由来します。
1898年に公園はオープンし、同じ年に就任式をしたウィルヘルミナ女王の名前をつけたのです。
オランダで最初に国家遺産 / rijksmonumentとして認められた公園の1つです。
リートフェルトの住宅については下記。
その上、私達が目指したレストランの建物も国家遺産なのです。
国家遺産の指定件数は、約62,000件なのだそうで、オランダではそう、珍しいものではないのかもしれません。
ユトレヒトだけでも、1401件！...
National Heritage / Rijksmonument
I and my husband R moved from "Rietveld Schröder House" to the Centraal Museum on foot.

The Rietveld Schröder House is on 'Prins Hendriklaan' street.
Head towards the centre on 'Prins Hendriklaan' street and you will enter the Wilhelmina Park / Wilhelminapark.
The park is very lovely.
The name of the park comes from the fourth Queen of the Netherlands, Wilhelmina (1880 - 1962 / reign 1890 - 1948).
The park opened in 1898 and was named after Queen Wilhelmina, who had her inauguration in the same year.

It is one of the first parks in the Netherlands to be recognized as a National heritage / rijksmonument.
Before we came here, the 'Gerrit Rietveld, Houses' on Erasmuslaan street were also registered as a National heritage.
About the Houses, below.
Besides, the restaurant building we aimed for is also a National heritage.
It seems that the number of designated national heritage sites / rijksmonument is about 62,000, which may not be unusual in the Netherlands.
Utrecht only has 1401 sites!

セントラル博物館とシュレーダー邸は徒歩圏内ではありますが、
近いとも言えません。
The Centraal Museum and Schröder House are within walking distance,
but not close to each other.
私達は 'プリンス・ヘンドリックラーン' 通りの先にある
ヴィルヘルミナ公園 / Wilhelminapark 内にあるレストラン(青い点線上)で
ランチをとりたいと思っていました。
セントラル博物館へは、赤いラインを行くのが
最も近いルートなのでしょうけれど、私達は少し外れました。 
We wanted to have lunch at a restaurant
just beyond 'Prins Hendriklaan' street.
Probably the shortest route to the Centraal Museum is the red line,
but we were a little off.

人と自転車のみが通れる橋を渡りました。
車は他の道から入園可能です。 We crossed a bridge where only people and bicycles can pass. Cars can enter the Park from another way. |
B. 藁葺き屋根 / Thatched Roof

藁葺き屋根
藁葺き屋根の建物がここにあるとは思っても見なかったのでびっくり！ ここだけでなく、なんとなく、藁葺き屋根は、オランダのイメージがしません。 それにかなり大きな規模... 'これは何？'
Thatched Roof
I was surprised to see that a thatched-roof building is here, I didn't expect it!
Not only here, somehow thatched roof does not fit the image of the Netherlands.
And it's quite big ...

1898年に公園はオープンし、1911年頃、池の淵にユトレヒトの自治体は、"飲酒虐待に対する人民同盟 (De Volksbond tegen Drankmisbruik)" の指示によって、木製のパビリオン : "メルクルス / Melkhuis" を建てました。
パビリオンは飲酒乱用者からの被害を防ぐために見張り小屋(交番)の役割であったと思われます。
1925年頃に、パビリオンは、G.ファン・デル・ガースト/ G. van der Gaast (1886 -1973) の設計によって、公園の少し西に、藁葺き屋根の "紅茶の家 (Theehuis)" に建て帰られました。
パビリオンは、時間の経過とともに改装されました。
パビリオンは徐々に個人所有になりました。
先ほども書きましたが、この建物は、国家遺産に登録されています。

ワクワクしつつ進むと、どうやらこれが目指すレストレンではないか？と...。

When I advanced while being excited,
somehow I thought this was the restaurant we aimed for.

Thatched Roof
The park opened in 1898, and around 1911, the municipality of Utrecht built a wooden pavilion : “Melkhuis" on the pond, under the direction of the "Volksbond Against Drinking Abuse / De Volksbond tegen Drankmisbruik".
I think the pavilion was as a sentry station (or Police Box) to prevent damage from drinkers.
Around 1925, the pavilion was rebuilt under a thatched roof "Theehuis" by the design of G. van der Gaast (1886 -1973) which was located a bit further west in the park.
The pavilion has been renovated over time.

2) ランチ / Lunch
A. 高そう.... / Looks expensive ...
実はRが体調を崩し、私達は非常に悲しい部屋に2日間半 (8月8日の半日と9、10日の全日)を過ごし、食事は全て私が料理しました。
悲しい部屋については下記。
ユトレヒトに一週間滞在し、日帰り旅行も2つ、3つする予定でしたが、アムステルダムのゴッホ美術館へ行った日帰り旅行のみになりました。
『明日はもう、英国へ帰る！』そう思うと、多少高くてもいいではないかと思いました。
ディナーではないのですし...。
Rもしぶしぶ納得。

Looks expensive ...
In fact, R had been sick and we spent two and a half days (half a day on August 8th and all days on 9th and 10th) in a very sad room and all our meals were cooked by me.
About the sad room, below.
We were planning to stay in Utrecht for a week and have 2.3 day trips, but only one day trip to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
'Tomorrow we would be back in England!' in mind, I thought it was alright it was a little expensive.
And also it was not dinner ...
R also reluctantly agreed.

大抵、ワインの場合は、ボトルを注文します。
ですがRの体調がまだ本調子でなく、彼があまり飲めないようなので
グラスで注文しました。
Mostly for wine, we order a bottle.
However, R wasn't feeling well yet and he wouldn't drink much
so we ordered glasses.

おしゃれにボトルをキープしています。
ここは演出が上手です。
1つびっくりしたことは、ウエイトレスの1人が
スパークリングのボトルに継ぎ足しをしていたことです。
え〜っ！と本当に驚いた！
ボトルから泡が溢れ出ていました....
(他のワインでも驚くけれど、よりによってスパークリング!)
彼女は食べたり飲んだりすることが好きではないのだと思いました。
ここは、サービスの教育をもっとした方がいいと
思わずににはいられませんでした。
お料理もローケションもとても素敵なのですから....。

One thing that surprised me
was that one of the waitresses was adding to a sparkling bottle.
Eh~~~! I was really surprised!
Bubbles were overflowing from the bottle …
(Surprised by other wines, but even more with sparkling!)
I thought she didn't like eating and drinking.
I couldn't help but feel more needed in service education.
The food and the location are very good....

持っています(と私は理解しています）。 これもちょっとそんな感じを残していて、それがアートを感じさせます。
Sweets like Object
The English garden should have some jungle (as I understand it).
This also leaves a little such feeling and it makes me feel art.
 シェアー ! 通常、デザートはRにあげてしまうのですが、これは食べてみたかった！ それは正しい選択でした。 Share! I usually give desserts to R, but I wanted to try this! That was the right choice. |
