ありがとうございました！
思っていただけで、パンフレットを見てもいなかったのに、
なぜSは私の気持ちがわかるのでしょう？

S bought it for me.

Even though I had the thought, I did not even look at the pamphlet, 
why did S understand my feeling?

 移動遊園地 / The Fairground (Map ⓴)

何の実でしょう？/ What are these berries?

英国では、移動遊園地は海辺の観光地でよく見かけます。
日本では移動遊園地見たことがないです....。
場所がないせいでしょうか？

In Britain, a 'Fairground' is often seen in seaside tourist resorts.

I have never seen it in Japan .....

Is it because there is no space?

この日は営業されていませんでした。/ It was not open on this day.

駄菓子屋さん
このお店だけ開いていました。

Only this was open.

綿菓子
お祭りや遊園地では欠かせないお菓子です。

Candyfloss
It is a must-have sweet at festivals and amusement parks.

黒いお菓子
黒いお菓子は'リコリス菓子'と呼ばれます。
日本では馴染みがあまりないお菓子ですが、英国ではよく見かけるお菓子です。
私は苦手な味ですが、何人かの日本人の友人は結構好きだと言います。

Black Sweets 

These black sweets are called 'Liquorice'.

In Japan, it is not so familiar, though in Britain it is a common sweet.

Although I do not enjoy, a few of my Japanese friends said 'I quite like it'.

ラム・ボウル/ Rum Balls

ラム・ボウル

Jが、ラム風味のチョコレートの 'ラム・ボウル'/ 'Rum Balls' を買ってくれました。

美味しかった！

大きなボウルは口の中を占領します。

歩きながら、もぐもぐと必死で噛み砕いて食べていると、楽しい気分になりました。

Jは、私が 'リコリス菓子'が苦手だということを知らなかったし、甘いものが比較的苦手だということも知らなかったのに、おおくのお菓子の中から、私が楽しめるであろう、 'ラム・ボウル'を選んでくれました。

いつもJ&Sカップルの配慮には、感じ入ります。

Rum Balls

J bought rum flavored chocolate 'Rum Balls'.

Delicious!

One large ball occupies my mouth.

While walking, I was desperately chewing and eating while munching, I felt fun.

J did not know that I do not enjoy 'Liquorice' and that I am not so keen on sweet things, but that I might be able to enjoy something from the many sweets , he selected 'Rum Balls'.

I am always impressed by the consideration of J & S couple .

運河 / Canal

この運河は、以前は

バーミンガム運河交通(網) / Birmingham Canal Navigations

に繫がっていました。

This canal was formerly connected to Birmingham Canal Navigations (BCN).

運河ボートに乗ってみたかったのですが、時間がなく実現できませんでした。
乗ることができると思っているのですけれど...?

I wanted to ride on the canal boat, but we did not have enough time.
I think we can get on a boat....?

and originally it was  built  here in 1842
