私はツナ入りのジェケット・ポテトを食べました。
英国の国民食(？)のジャケット・ポテトをこの旅では今まで食べていいませんでした。
今回の旅では、このジャケットポテトが最初で最後になりました。
ジャケット・ポテトは、皮付きベークド・ポテトで、中にいろいろな具材を入れて食べます。
英国のサンドイッチのような、おにぎりのようなもののように私は思います。

In
this trip, I hadn't had a jacket potato which is like a British
National food (?).
This
jacket potato was the first and last in this trip.

potatoes are baked in their skins.
People
put in various ingredients and eat.
I
think it is like a British sandwich or like a rice ball.
Rはチーズとベークドビーンズ入りを食べました。
ベークドビーンズは、本来 '蒸し焼き'ですが、煮ただけのものが大半に思えます。
R ate Jacket potato with cheese and baked beans.
Baked beans are originally 'baked steamed',but I think most of them seem to be boiled. |
トラディーガー・ハウスで、Rの友人、CとCの妹のKに会えて、よかったです。
いつもと変わらず、元気そうでしたし、二人から暖かな優しさを感じました。
2年後に、また会えますように！
It
was nice to see a friend of R, C and C's
sister K at Tradigger House.
They
seemed to be fine as usual, and I felt warmth and kindness from the
two.
I
hope to see them again in two years!
