The Black Country Living Museum is an open-air museum which has rebuilt historic buildings in the West Midlands region, Britain.

店 / Shops

| 主に1900年代前半の店が移築され、ひとつの村が形成されています。 Mainly shops from the early 1900s were relocated and a village was formed. |
'運河通り橋' / 'Canal Street Bridge' (Map ㊲)
この橋は、1879年に建造され、ウルヴァーハンプトン / Wolverhamptonの
バーミンガム運河 / Birmingham Canal に架けられていました。
1976年に解体され、博物館に再建されました。
博物館の最も古い再建物のひとつです。
'Canal Street Bridge' (Map ㊲).
This bridge was built in 1879, over the Birmingham Canal in Wolverhampton.
It was dismantled in 1976 and rebuilt in the museum.
It is one of the oldest reconstructions in the museum. |

Fish
and chips wrapped in paper. People eat it with only a small fork
of wood.

had eaten only fish and chips on a plate, I ate this way for the
first time.

| 労働者協会 (Map ㉝) 1910年、低賃金に苦しむ女性労働者のストライキに世界中から寄附が集まり、ストライキは成功しました。労働者協会 の建物もその寄附が元になり、 1912年に建てられ、2004年に博物館に移動しました。 The Workers' Institute (Map ㉝) Donations were gathered from around the world to support the striking women workers suffering from low wages in 1910, the strike succeeded. The building of the Workers' Institute was also funded by the donations, it was built in 1912 and moved to the museum in 2004. |

英国のコカ・コーラ
私はカフェラテを飲みましたが、Jが私のために 'DANDELION& BURDOCK' という飲み物を買ってくれました。
「英国のコカ・コーラ？」と私が聞くと、
「そう、まさにそんな感じだよ」と笑いました。
これと同じ会社の飲み物を過去に何度か飲みましたが、これは初めてでした。

British Coca-Cola
I had a cup of latte here, but J also bought a drink called 'DANDELION &BURDOCK' for me.
When
I asked "Is this British Coca-Cola?"
"Yes,
it is exactly like that", he laughed.
I
drank the same company's drinks several times in the past, but this
was my first time for 'DANDELION& BURDOCK' .

| パン屋さんとお菓子屋さん / Bakery and Sweets Shop (Map ㊺& ㊻)   |
摂理礼拝堂 (Map ㊹)
メソジスト派の礼拝堂で、もとは1837年に建てられ、
1979年に博物館に再建されました。
It was a Methodist chapel, originally built in 1837 and rebuilt in the museum in 1979.

| Emile Doo's Chemist Shop (Map ㊸) この店は、1886年築の建物のレプリカで、1973年にここに建てられました。 This shop is a replica of the 1886 building, built here in 1973.  Sは元のお店のことを覚えていると言っていました。 S said she remembers the original shop.    |
