目的は、カーディフに住むRの友人、Cにトレデガー・ハウスで会うためでした。
いつもは、カーディフに泊まるのですが、日本への帰国日が迫り、時間がなく、今回はカーディフに泊まることができませんでした。
マンチェスターから南下して、カーディフに近いトラディーガー・ハウス で、CとCの妹のKに会いました。
トラディーガー・ハウスというのは、かつて、この地域で最も力があり、影響力があった一族のひとつ、モルガン
(モーガン) 家/ Morgan
Family が500年住み続けた、
ウェールズで最大の邸宅 (カントリー・ハウス)です。

House in Wales after
we visited R's
mother, J who
lives in Manchester.

House is managed by the National Trust.

Our
purpose was to see R's
friend C who
lives in Cardiff ,
at Tredegar House.
The
day of returning to Japan was near, we did not have time for staying
in Cardiff.
We
went southwards from Manchester and then saw C and C's
sister K at Tredegar House which is close
to Cardiff.
Tredegar House is the biggest mansion (country house) in Wales where the Morgan Family which was one of the most powerful and influential families in the area, continued to live for 500 years.

That British pirate, Captain Morgan [Henry Morgan / 1635 - 1688 (that name is also used for a rum)] was also this family.

菜園 / Vegetable Garden
屋敷の前に、
敷地脇に設置されている菜園部分の庭を見ました。
Before
entering the House, we visited the vegetable garden set at one side
of the site.

お気に入りの動物達の記念碑 (お墓) があります。
