1) '伊豆四季の花公園' 

    'Izu Shiki-no-Hana Kouen' : 'Izu Four Seasons Flower Park'

'シャボテン公園'と'伊豆四季の花公園'は同じグループで、どちらかのチケットを

購入すれば、片方は無料になっています。

私達は、'シャボテン公園'の多少安い前売り券をホテルで買っていました。

'シャボテン公園'の後に、城ヶ崎海岸 (ジョウガサキカイガン) : ★に行きたいと思っていたところ、その場所に'伊豆四季の花公園'があるので、そちらも寄ってみたのです。

'シャボテン公園'からは、 '伊東観光フリーパス'を使用し、バスで移動しました。

 'Izu Shiki-no-Hana Kouen' : 'Izu Four Seasons Flower Park'

'Shaboten Park' : 'Cactus Park' and  'Izu Shiki-no-Hana Kouen' : 'Izu Four Seasons Flower Park' are run by the same company, so if you have ticket for one of them, 

you could enter another one.

We bought advance tickets, slightly cheeper of 'Shaboten Park' at our hotel.

I would visit Jougasaki Coast in Izu Peninsula which is within Shizuoka Prefecture : right on Map, below, after Shaboten Park and we moved to 

'Izu Four Seasons Flower Park' by bus with 'Free Pass Bus Ticket'.

'伊豆ぐらんぱる公園'も同じグループですが、私達は行きませんでした。
'Izu Granparu Park' is run by the same company although we did not visit.

つなきり岬
とりあえず、一度、四季の花公園'に入りました。
受付のスタッフが大変親切でフレンドリーでした。
そういえば、'シャボテン公園'のスタッフの方々も親切でした。
このグループのお客に対するもてなしの良さを感じます。

Tsunakiri Cape
Anyway we entered the 'Four Seasons Flowers Park'.
The receptionist was very kind and friendly.
Oh! Yes! Shoboten Park's staff were kind too.
I feel the group gives us good hospitality.

伊豆大島と菜の花
今の時期はここがおすすめと言われた場所。
確かに公園内ではここが一番良かったです。
山村暮鳥 (ヤマムラ ボチョウ/ 1884 - 1924) の『風景 純銀もざいく』に表現される
'いちめんのなのはな' の風景には及びはしませんが、
たくさんの菜の花が幸せな気持ちにさせてくれました。

山村暮鳥 の『空』'おーい雲よ'も好きです。
日頃、まったく思い出さない、幼い頃に知った詩も
のびのびした場所に来ると記憶の底から湧き上がってきます。

ちなみに、人見東明 (ヒトミトウメイ/ 1883 -1974) から
「静かな山村の夕暮れの空に飛んでいく鳥」という意味をこめて
「山村暮鳥」の筆名をもらっています。
山村暮鳥がクリスチャンであり、伝道師であったことを初めて知りました。

Izu Ōshima and Rape
The receptionist recommended here in this season.
Indeed, here was the best in the Park.

The Rape view did not reach the view expressed in 
 a poem: "Fukei, Jungin Mozaiku" : "View, Mosaic of Pure Silver" 
by Bochō Yamamura (1884 - 1924), however, a lot of Rape made me happy.

I like another of his poems, "Sora : Sky".
Usually I do not remember poems completely which I knew when I was a child,
although if I come to a free and easy place, the poems might rise
 from the bottom of my memory.
Now, I found out that Bochō Yamamura was a Christian preacher.

『空 / Sky』山村暮鳥　作
おうい雲よ

ゆうゆうと
馬鹿にのんきそうじゃないか
どこまでゆくんだ
ずっと磐城平（イワキタイラ）の方までゆくんか

この詩は私の実力では、到底英語に訳せません。(どこかに訳詩はないかな〜？)

I cannot translate this poem : "Sky" from Japanese to English, my English is not enough...unfortunately.

春到来
桜が既に咲いていて、ここが他よりも暖かいのを感じます。

Spring is Coming
Already cherry blossoms, I feel here is warmer than other places.

この写真がすごく好きです。/ I love this photograph.

2) 城ヶ崎散策 / Jougasaki Walk

A. 城ヶ崎海岸 / Jougasaki Coast

城ヶ崎海岸は、大室山ができた約4000年前の噴火で溶岩が流れ、海岸線を2km近く埋め立てたことによって形成されました。

現在の海岸は小さな岬と入り江が連続し、その多くは荒々しい断崖絶壁となっています。

城ヶ崎海岸は、富士箱根伊豆国立公園の指定を受けています。

Jougasaki Coast

When the Mount Ōmuro : Ōmuroyama was made by lava erupting approximately 4,000 years, at that time Jougasaki Coast was formed, the lava flowed to the coast and the shoreline moved out by nearly 2Km.

Nowadays the coast continues with small capes and inlets and most of shoreline is wild cliffs.

Jougasaki Coast is designated Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. 

B. 散策 / Walk 

一度、四季の花公園' を出て、城ヶ崎の門脇灯台 (カドワキトウダイ) と 門脇吊橋 (カドワキツリバシ) を目指すことにしました。

城ヶ崎海岸 : ★ (伊東観光ガイド)

公園から門脇吊橋までは、下記の二つがあります。

1) 最短林間コース、800m、徒歩約10分 ; 比較的平坦

2) 海岸線コース、12,00m、徒歩約20分 ；上り下りあり

ここでも受け付け係りのお姉さんが、親切にコースの説明をしてくれ、景色を楽しむなら海岸線コース、と言うので、私達は行きは2)を選びました。

私達は、途中写真撮影のために何度も立ち止まり、休みもしたので、20分ですむわけがありません。

灯台に登ったり、Rは吊橋を渡ったりもしました。

公園から伊東駅へのバスが1日に１本しかなく、それがもちろん最終で、その時間に公園へ戻るにはリスキーな時間しか残っていませんでした。

なので、私は時間と私達の体力を考慮して、帰りはタクシーを使ってしまいました。

灯台の駐車場にタクシーがあり、ラッキーでした。

駐車場を出るときに、運転手さんが駐車料金を払っていました。

私達は、結果的にワンメーターの客であり、彼の利益にたいしてならなかったのに、最後まで親切で、申し訳なく感じました。

Kadowaki Cape with Kadowaki Lighthouse

Jougasaki Walk

We left the Flower Park once and went towards the Kadowaki Lighthouse and the Kadowaki Suspension Bridge.

There are two walking routes from the Park to the Bridge.

1) 'Shortest Woodland Path', 800m, about 10 minutes on foot ; relatively flat

2) 'Coast Line', 1,200m, about 20 minutes on foot ; Up and Down

Here too, the receptionist explained kindly about the Courses and she said the last if we enjoy views she would recommend the Coast Line walk, so we selected the 'Coast Line'.

On our way, I stopped to photograph many times and we had a rest time, of course it was not just 20 minutes.

Moreover, we climbed the lighthouse and R walked across the bridge.

The public bus from the 'Flower Park' to JR Ito Station only runs once in a day, 
of course it is the last bus and at that time we had very risky time.

Therefore I decided on using a taxi, considering the time and our energy, and we took a taxi  for our return to the Park.

We were lucky there was a taxi in the carpark of the lighthouse.

When we left the carpark, the driver paid to exit.

We were 'one meter customer', I guess he did not get so much benefit though he was kind until we left the taxi and I felt sorry to him.

門脇灯台を海側から
From Coast Side to the Kadowaki Lighthouse 

灯台を陸側から

展望台は無料ですが、階段で上り下りします。

ひ弱な私達も登ってみました。

The Lighthouse from the Land Side
The Observation Platform of the Lighthouse is free,
though we should walk up and down.
We are weak although we did climb up.

灯台から
大室山 (オオムロヤマ) が見えます。
標高580mの火山で、国の天然記念物および富士箱根伊豆国立公園に
指定されています。
大室山登山リフト (有料) で頂上へ登ることもでいますが、
私達はそれをせずに、こちらの公園へやってきたのです。

From Lighthouse 

I can see Mount Ōmuro : Ōmuroyama .

Mount Ōmuro is a volcano, the height is 580m, 

and is designated as a National Natural Monument, 

Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park as well.
Mount Ōmuro has a cable lift for a charge, we can go to the top,
although we did not go, instead we went to the Flower Park.

門脇吊橋横の岬

門脇吊橋
長さ: 48m / 高さ: 23m
元の橋は1968年に架けられ、1982年に修復されましたが、
1997年に全面架け替えられました。

吊橋が苦手な私は渡らず、Rだけ渡りました。

Kadowaki Suspension Bridge
Length : 48m / height : 23m
Originally was built in 1968 and repaired in 1982,
thought it was completely rebuilt in 1997.

I am very weak about suspension bridges
so only R walked on the bridge.

灯台の展望台から吊橋の向こう側を見ました。
I saw the other side from the Platform of the Lighthouse.

3) 再び花の公園へ / To the Flower Park Again

タクシーを使用して得た時間に、再び公園を見て歩きました。

Having used the taxi gave us time to walk and look round the Flower Park again.

日がだいぶ傾いています。
The sun is now low.

温室の花々  / Flowers in Conservatories 

未だに何と言う鳥なのか、わかりません...
I still do not know what this bird is called...

冬の庭を明るくしてくれるハボタン (葉牡丹)

Ornamental Kale / Flowering Cabbage / Flowering Kale / Decorative Kale

 makes Winter Gardens brighter.

最後に、ようやく、本日、最初の暖かなカフェオレをここのカフェで飲みました。

再び、受け付けのお姉さんが親切で、公園がすでに閉館時間を迎えていましたのに、私達のバスの時間までカフェに座らせてくれました。

本当に親切な方でした。感謝！

At last we each had a cup of hot Café au Lait in a cafe which was unusually our first of the day.

Again she was kind and bright, the Park was already closed though she let us sit down in the cafe until our bus would come.
