❶2016年1月11日〜14日、伊豆旅行 - 踊り子号とホテル/ IZU Trip - Odoriko and Hotel, 11th ~ 14th of January, 2016

1) 踊り子号 / 'Odoriko' : Express Train for Izu 

伊豆へ

12月からお正月にかけて、自分の力量を超える予定をたてていたと
認識していました。
なので、ひと段落したのちに、どっと疲れがでるだろうと思い、
休養の旅行を計画。
電車と温泉プール付きのホテルの予約だけのツアーを選びました。
温泉プールは、通常の温泉が熱すぎて利用できないRのためでした。
実は私はその旅行の直前から体調を崩していたのですが、
温泉ホテルでのんびりする内容でしたので、出かけました。

To Izu
I thought my plans for December to early January were over my capability,
 so I made a plan for a Trip of relaxation.
I selected a tour which was just trains to one spa hotel which
also has a spa water swimming pool.
The pool was for R who cannot use a normal hot spring bath which
 is too hot for him.
Actually I was not so well before the trip,
 so I thought I would mostly stay in the hot spring hotel.

踊り子号に乗る

言わずもがな、踊り子号の名前は、

『伊豆の踊り子』[川端康成 (1899 - 1972) 作 / 1926]に由来しています。

Got on 'Odoriko' 

Express Train to Izu area.
 The train's name, 'Odoriko' came from a novel

 : "The Dancing Girl of Izu" or "The Izu Dancer" ( "Izu no Odoriko" in Japanese),by Yasunari Kawabata (1899 - 1972), 1926.
According to Wikipedia about the novel.

"The story is well known in Japan, and, today,
part of the story's name, Odoriko (which means "dancing girl") is used
as the name of express trains to the Izu area."

The hotel building is not new, though our room was top floor and has good views.

2) 部屋からの景色 / Views from Room

あの建物はなにかしら〜？老舗の旅館でしょうか？
最終日に、何かがわかりましたが、それはのちのセクションに載せます。

What is that building? Is that as old-established Hotel?
I found out it on the last day.
I will write about it in later section.

3) 食事 / Meals

朝も夜もヴァイキング
たくさんの種類があるヴァイキングでした。
Rの食事の問題もケアーしてくださいました。
ありがとうございました。

夜の海鮮焼きが名物で、
自分のテーブルで海鮮の食材を焼いて食べます。
海鮮類は豪華で食べ放題です。
が、初日にこの部屋がもうもうとするぐらいの混みようで、
海鮮の匂いがきつく、匂いに酔った感じで、2日めからは、
海鮮類が大好きな私もちょっと避け気味でした。
でも、お刺身は喜んで食べました！(笑)

Breakfast and Dinner Buffets
There are many kinds of food.
They cared about R's food problems, thank you very much.

Their dinner feature is seafood barbecue and
we barbecued seafood ingredients on our table.
The ingredients are gorgeous, eating as much as we like,
however, there was very crowded on the first night which 
made the room very smoky.
So the smell of seafood was very strong and I felt sick by the smell.
Even though I love seafood, I avoided seafood from the second day.
But I did enjoy eating Sashimi. (laugh)

朝から揚げ物 (クリームコロッケ) を食べてしまいました。
体調が悪くても、朝からもりもり食べる私。

I had a fried food : cream croquette.
Even though I was not well my appetite was very well.
