1) シャボテン公園へ / To Shaboten Park : Cactus Park

ギャラリー招山のオーナーWさんに私達の伊豆旅行を伝えると、彼女が、シャボテン公園が好きだと言いました。

Wさんのセンスとシャボテン公園への私のイメージがかけ離れていたので、彼女のその発言に驚き、シャボテン公園に興味が湧きました。

伊豆旅行、3日め、お天気も良かったので、ホテルからシャボテン公園へ出かけました。

JR 伊東駅前からバスに乗ります。

2日間有効なバスチケット: '伊東観光フリーパス'を使用。

We got on the Bus from JR Itō Station.

We bought a 'Free Pass Bus Ticket' : two day term of validity : ★ in Japanese.

To Shaboten Park : Cactus Park

I told Gallery Shousan's owner, W San about Izu Trip, she said to us she likes Shaboten Park : Cactus Park.

I was a little surprised because W San's s sense and my image of the park were quite different, and then I became curious about the Park.

The third day of the trip, it was a sunny day and we went to the park from our hotel.

'シャボテン公園バス停'から入り口までの無料ミニバスの送迎があります。

They have free mini-bus lifts between Shaboten Park Bus Stop and
the Park Entrance.

伊豆大島

入り口の駐車場から素敵な景色が望めます。

伊豆大島は我が家から見えますが、方向が約90度違うので、

この景色では全く違う形です。

Izu Ōshima : Izu Big Island

There are lovely views from the carpark by the Entrance.

From our house we can see Izu Ōshima : Izu Big Island,

although it is at a different angle, 90 degrees from here,

so the form in this view is very different.

富士山も見える！
We can see Mount Fuji, too!

2) 池とその周辺 / Pond and Around

案内板
シャボテン公園という名前ですが、シャボテンよりも、動物園のようで、動物や鳥が飼育がメインに
思います。公園の中心に池があります。園内マップの詳細はここで見られます→★

Guide Board
The park name Cactus : Shaboten or Saboten in Japanese, although I think there is now mainly about animals or birds like a Zoo. In the Centre is a pond. The Detail of the Map→★ in Japanese.

大講堂
ここでは動物のショーが行われますが、
私達は見ませんでした。

Daikoudo: Big Lecture Hall
There has animal shows, although we did not see.

挨拶してるのかな？
池にはペリカンも白鳥もいます。

Are they greeting?
There are pelicans and swans in the pond.

池が中心
池の中には、島が４つあり、それぞれに違う猿がいます。
'チンパンジーの島' は別のところにありますが、
私達が尋ねた日は何か検査があるようで、閉鎖されていて見られませんでした。

Pond is in the Centre
There are four islands in the pond and each island has different monkeys.
'Chimpanzee Island' is in a different place,
although we could not see it because when we visited the park, the area had something inspection, the area was closed.

ボリビア・リスザル

愛嬌のある顔で、未来を見つめて何か思考してるようで、一層かわいいです。

ボリビア・リスザル : ★は、南米に生息する
新世界ザル (広鼻下目 / コウビカモク) です。

リスザルとよく似ています。

リスザルに比べると、ボリビアリスザルの頭部は黒っぽく、

額の模様も丸いと言われています。
リスザルは園内で放し飼いと聞きましたが...

Bolivian Squirrel Monkey

The face is charming and it seems to see the future and be thinking something,

so it is more lovely.

Bolivian Squirrel Monkey is a South American Squirrel Monkey, found in Bolivia, Brazil and Peru.

It is similar to the Common Squirrel Monkey.

They say that compared to the Common Squirrel Monkey, the Bolivian Squirrel Monkey 's head is more black and its forehead pattern is round.
I heard these types of monkey are loose in the park, although....

ジェフロイクモザル
ジェフロイクモザルは、南米に生息する
新世界ザル (広鼻下目 / コウビカモク) です。
この種の尾は'5番目の手'と言われていますが、
この写真でもそんな感じがしますね。

Geoffroy’s Spider Monkey / Central American Spider-Monkey

Geoffroy’s Spider Monkey lives in South America, is a type of New World Monkey.
They say this type's tail is the fifth hand, it is like this in this photograph, isn't it?

ブラウンキツネザル
ブラウンキツネザルは、マダガスカル島に生息しています。
ワオキツネザルなどは地上で活動することも多いですが、
このサルは殆どの時間を樹上で過ごし、
稀にしか地上に降りて来ないと言われています。

Common Brown Lemur / Brown Lemur

Common Brown Lemur / Brown Lemur lives Madagascar.
They say that the Ring-tailed Lemur is often active on the ground,
although the Common Brown Lemur mostly lives in trees and
very rarely comes to the ground.
