年末に近くなり、衣類の整理をしました。

ネットで、"フクサポ"を見つけ、これを利用しました。

不要な衣類を段ボールにつめて、ネットで申し込みをすると、無料でひきとりに来てくれます。

It was close to the end year, I cleared out some of my clothes.

I found "Fukusapo" in Internet and I used this system.

I put the clothes into a cardboard box and applied to them and then they picked it up for free.

I sent this. 

Later they sent me e-mail, below.

I translate it and summarize myself.

" 639 people donated 1,179 boxes  in November 

The old clothes weighed 11074.1 kg 

The clothes raised 137,100 yen 

Totally 933,230 yen was donated to 'Terra Renaissance' 

from all of you.

■Introduction Uganda of the support activity ■

For the cooperation of 'Fukusapo', thank you very much.

The group supports the return to normal life of  the child soldiers, 

kidnapped in Uganda and been made to fight.

The eighth class of students completed the first six months term 

of their 18 months training program on 20th of November.

On average they had been kept as soldiers for 14 years.

Now they have finished one third of their program and they are fine.

The photographs (below) show

 their first six month term Completion Ceremony.

Compared to before their faces are bright and now they have friends.

While they had the Ceremony they chatted and danced.

They will continue their training to be independent 

and be fully rehabilitated in society.

We would stay and help them."

寄付金額累計　　　　933,230円

集まりました古着はリユース・リサイクルをさせて頂き

寄付金は皆様からの寄付金としてテラ・ルネッサンスへ寄付いたします。

■支援活動のご紹介　ウガンダ■

フクサポへのご協力、誠にありがとうございます。
ウガンダでは、誘拐されて戦わされてきた

元子ども兵への社会復帰支援を行っています。

11月20日、８期生の生徒たちが

半年間の最初の学期を終えて、修了式が行われました。
写真はその時の様子です。

平均すると１４年間も、神の抵抗軍に拘束されて帰ってきた、

第８期生の元子ど も兵は、みんな、元気に、

訓練の３分の１を終了することができました。

受け入れた当時と比べると、みんな友達もできて、
表情も明るく、式の合間中、みんなダンスを踊ったり、

おしゃべりをしていました。

6月から始まった受け入れ、そして新学期ともに、

皆様のご支援のおかげで、無事に終えることができました。

心より御礼申し上げます。

これからあと１年間訓練が続き、

それぞれが自立に向けて、外でお店を出したりしながら、社会復帰に向かっていきます。

未来を切り拓く、その姿に伴走しながら

これからも私どもにできる支援を続けていきます。"

私は、日頃、何もできず、これからも、たいしたことはできません。

そんな私が、ほんの少しだけ上記に関わりました。
