1) 素敵なB&B / Lovely B&B

8月17日に泊まりました。

翌日の朝から、ノース・ ヨーク・ムーアズ国立公園 (★)の南から入って、観光が始められる位置のB&B、ウィロー ・コテージ  / Willow Cottage を選びました。
ウィロー ・コテージのサイト ： ★

場所も私たちにとっては良かったですし、B&Bとしても、とても素敵で、私は、
ウィロー ・コテージが大好きでした。

We stayed one night on 17th of August.

I selected B&B: Willow Cottage, because the place suited my plan which we would begin in the South of the North York Moors National Park (★).

Its location was good for us and it is very good as a B&B and I do like Willow Cottage very much.

泊まった部屋
ツインでバスルーム、トイレ付き。
この形は英国ではスィーツ/ Suiteと呼ばれます。
B＆Bの名前、ウィロー コテージ (柳山荘もしくは柳庵)に
あうインテリアだな〜と感じます。
サイトで見ると、他のどの部屋も素敵です。

Our Room
Our room was twin en suite.
I feel the interior suits their name.
I saw other rooms in their website, every room looks lovely.

猫のドアストッパー
このタイプのものは、可愛すぎたり、キッチュテイストだったり
その度合いが難しいですが、これは可愛さの度合いが良いところで
止まっている気がします。
一つには、ハードな材質(皮かも？）のせいかもしれません。
まあ、私にはちょっと可愛すぎますが....

Cat Doorstopper
These types of things are ofter too sugary or kitsch and the balance is difficult,
though I feel this sweetness stops at a good balance.
One of reasons is the hard type of material, maybe leather.
However, for me, it is a little too sweet for my home.

バスルーム / Bathroom

お風呂とシャワーが別になっています。
The bath and the shower are separate.

窓からの景色 / Views From Windows

朝焼けも夕焼けもその美しさを私のカメラで捉えることはいつもできないのに、
撮影することを止められません。

Always my camera cannot catch the beauty of Sunrise and Sunset,
however, I cannot stop taking photographs of them.

焦点があってなくてすみません。

Sorry, no focus...

センスは人それぞれなので、良いとか悪いとかの判断は難しいです。
でも、このB＆Bのセンスは私にはあっていました。

Sense is different for everybody so it is difficult to judge good or bad.
But the sense of this B&B suits me.

朝食も美しく、美味しかったです。
Breakfast was beautiful, too.

2) 庭 / Garden

庭もとても素敵でした。

それぞれのコーナーにアイディアがあって、見て歩くのが楽しかったです。

Their garden is lovely, too.

Every corner has its ideas and I enjoyed walking and looking.

庭の置物は難しいと思います。
通常、私は甘い感じの庭の置物が好きではないのですが、
この猫は好き。

I think it is often difficult to have objects in a garden.
Normally I do not go for sweet types of object,
although I like this cat.

このあひる達も、場所が違うとキッチュになると思うけれど、
この場では良い具合にはまっていると感じます。

I feel if the ducks were in a different place, they might be kitsch,
but here , they suit the atmosphere.

秘密の花園の雰囲気が感じられます。
I feel the atmosphere of a secret garden.

美人な(メスだと思う)猫ちゃん!
猫の置物が複数あったので、きっとオーナーさんは猫が好きで
飼っていると想像していましたが、やっぱり！

Beautiful lady ( I think) Cat!
 I saw a few things of cat so that I guessed the owner likes cats
 and would have one or some, and then... I knew it!
