桐生へ - 2014年 3月末 / To Kiryu - The End of March, 2014

桐生に向かう電車の中から
ケガをした母が殆ど回復し、母を桐生の家まで送りました。

I photographed this when we were going to Kiryu City.
My mother was injured and she recovered enough for us
to take her back to her house in Kiryu.

R found a new Cafe

桐生の新しいカフェ
Rが新しいカフェをまた見つけました。
鎌倉は多くのカフェがありますが、桐生はさほど多くはないと思っているので、
この地でこのカフェを見つけたのには、驚きました。
そのうえ、このカフェはまだオープン前の状態なのです。
なので、このカップは無料！！！

New Cafe in Kiryu
R found a new cafe, another!
Kamakura has many cafes, however, I think Kiryu not so many, 
so I was very surprised that he could find this cafe.
Moreover, this was before their opening at that time.
So this cup was free!!!

もとはネクタイの工場であったそうです。

カフェの中に焙煎設備があり、カフェの名前にも'Factory'が入っています。

It was used to be a tie factory. 
There is roasting equipment in this cafe, so their name has 'factory'.

正確に言うと、このお店は2号店で、
1号店の名前は"伊東屋珈琲"で相生町にあり、
このお店は"Itoya coffee factory"で仲町にあります。→★

To be precise this cafe is their second. 
Their first cafe is in Aioi-Cho, this is in Nakamachi.→★ in Japanese

店内/ inside

珈琲豆をいくらか買わせていただきました。
２階はフリースペースで、個展会場にもできます。素敵な空間でした。
私の場合は、桐生で個展をするのは難しい...

We bought some coffee beans.
There is free space upstairs, so they plan for exhibitions.
The space is wonderful.
For me, it is quite difficult to have my exhibition in Kiryu... 

びすとろ ファンベック Masami

Bistro Finbec Masami

"びすとろファンベックMasami"のシェフ (Masamiさんという方なのでしょうか？) は、"フランス料理 シュマンドール  /  French Restaurant, Chemin d'Or"
 ('レストラン鈴木') で修行された方です。→ ★

場所は有鄰館前です。 (この周辺は"重要伝統的建造物群保存地区"：★ / ★です）

以前、姉：Yと来た時は、朝食でおなかがいっぱいだったので、
'ミニ ケーキセット'をいただきました。

美味しかったので、Rをつれて、今回はランチ。

(母はまだ右手が自由に使用できないので、外食は行きたがりません）

Rのややこしい注文も受けてくださりました。感謝！

美味しく楽しく食べました。

さすが、鈴木シェフの教え子〜！と思いました。

桐生でフレンチレストランを続けるのは、ちょっとしんどいかもしれません。

いつまでもお店が続くようにと願っています。

"Bistro Finbec Masami" 's chef (Masami ?) had trained in "French Restaurant, Chemin d'Or" ("Restaurant Suzuki"). 

The Bistro is in front of Yurinnkan /  ★ (Pamphlet) : 有鄰館. (The area is 'Groups of Traditional Buildings'. Website : ★ only in Japanese)

Before, when I visited here with My sister Y, we were still full from our breakfasts, so we only had 'Mini- Cake Sets'.

It was good, so this time I took R here and we had lunch.

(My mother cannot use her right hand well, so she would not go out for a meal.)

They accepted R's complicated request, thank you very much!

We enjoyed ourselves and the meals were delicious.

I felt indeed, the chef is Suzuki Chef's disciple. 

It might be hard for a French restaurant to survive in Kiryu, so I wish they can stay open.
