| 細い三日月 午前5時頃、東の空に細い三日月を見つけました。 (10月5日) Thin Crescent Moon Around 5 am, I found a thin crescent moon in the eastern sky. (5th of October)  |

| ロゴ入りの紙 10月5日、ゴールデングリーンの野菜が届きました。 ゴールデングリーンのロゴが入った紙が トップに載せられていました。 紙がある時とない時があります。 紙が具体的な役にたつということもないけれど、 箱のあると嬉しいです。 Paper with Logo Golden Green Vegetables arrived on 5th of October. A piece of paper with the Golden Green Logo was on the top. There are times when there is paper and times when there is no paper. Paper doesn't play a specific role, but I'm happy to see it in the box. |

| 秋の野菜はカラフル！ これらの野菜は、農薬を散布せず、肥料は有機肥料を 用いて育てられました。 いつも、'元気パワー' をもらっています。 畑は、北八ヶ岳エリアの標高1,000mにあります。 ゴールデングリーン公式サイト : ★ Autumn Vegetables are Colorful! These vegetables were grown without pesticides and were only using organic fertilizers. We always are given 'Energetic Power' by them. Their field is located at an altitude of 1,000 m in the Northern Yatsugatake area. Golden Green Official Website : ★ only in Japanese  どれもこれも美味しそうで、 何から食べようか迷います。 結局一番好きな '赤からし菜' を最初に生で食べました。 Everything looks delicious and I was wondering which to eat first. After all, I ate my favourite 'Red Leave Mustard' first, as salad. |

| 'ヤマボウシ' / 'Japanese Dogwood' : 'Yamaboushi' 手紙のコメント (下の画像) に説明がある、'ヤマボウシ'は 生まれて初めて食べます。 最近、ハナミズキをリサーチした際にハナミズキの別名が アメリカヤマボウシと知りました。 その流れで、日本のヤマボウシ (山法師) も リサーチしたばかりでした。 この偶然を嬉しく感じつつ、貴重な 'ヤマボウシ' を食べました。 野原や山でブルーベリーやラズベリーを摘んだ時に感じる 野生の味を'ヤマボウシ'にも感じました。  "Even few people rural know that they can eat fruits of 'Japanese Dogwood': 'Yamaboushi'." As explained in the comment of the letter, above 'Japanese Dogwood : Cornus Kousa' could be eaten. Eating these fruit was for the first time in my life. Before the vegetables arrived, I had researched 'Cornus Florida' : 'Flowering Dogwood', I found that it has another name, 'American Dogwood' : 'American Yamaboushi'. At that time, I wondered what is Japanese Yamaboushi, and then I researched Japanese Yamaboushi. I was happy with this coincidence and ate the precious 'Yamaboushi'. When I ate I felt the wild taste of picking blueberries and raspberries in the fields,I also felt the wild taste of 'Yamaboushi'. |

3) 柿 / Persimmon
3,4年前から庭の柿の状態が思わしくありませんでした。
ネットで対処方法を調べ、2年前から土壌から治療を始めました。
今年は少しは回復し、3、４つ柿の実が色づきました。
落ち葉から他へ病気がうつるので夫Rがほぼ毎日落ち葉の駆除をしています。
彼の努力の甲斐もなく病気が他に移る傾向が見られます。
2年間、柿に費やした時間との労力が報われませんでした。
近いうちに柿の木を切ることにしました。

Persimmon
The condition of the persimmon in our garden has not been good for three or four years.
I searched online to find out how to deal with it, and started treatment from the soil two years ago.
This year, it has recovered a little, and three or four persimmon fruits have changed colour.
My husband R is collecting the fallen leaves almost every day because the disease is transmitted from the fallen leaves to others.
There is a tendency for the illness to pass on to others without the benefit of his efforts.
For two years, the time and effort spent on persimmons was not rewarded.
We decided to cut the persimmon tree in the near future.
4) 予期せぬお礼 / Unexpected Thanks

| ポストに ポストに予期せぬお礼の品がお手紙付きで入っていました。 文面を読むと、数日前にRが隣人Uさんに我が家の栗を お福分けしたことへのお礼でした。 Rから何も聞いていませんでした。 彼のその行為に驚き、また、丁寧なお礼にも驚きました。 栗は新米で栗ご飯にして召し上がってくださったそうです。 喜んでいただけたようで、よかったです。 In Our Mailbox There was an unexpected thank-you thing with a letter in our mailbox . When I read the letter, the letter came from our neighbour, U San and it thanked R for giving our sweet chestnut a few days ago. She wrote that our sweet chestnuts were eaten as chestnut rice using new season rice. I'm glad she was pleased.  素敵なお礼 日本の伝統和菓子、和三盆 (ワサンボン) が 現代的にアレンジされています。 'Uchu'という和菓子のお店 (会社)を初めて知りました。 京都の和菓子屋さんです。 'Uchuu' の落雁の上品な甘さと口どけの滑らかさを堪能しました。 素敵なお手紙と和菓子、ありがとうございました。 Lovely Thanks |
