私と夫Rは、鎌倉山の 'たんぽぽ公園'へ行き、初めての山道を経て、出た所は、'鎌倉山記' 碑のある場所でした。
そこは、夫婦池公園の鎌倉山入り口脇でもありました。
When I and my husband R walked through 'Dandelion Park' in Kamakurayama and along the mountain road for the first time, we reached the place where the 'Kamakurayamaki' monument was located.
The place was also beside the Kamakurayama Entrance of Married Couples Pond Park.

| "ル・ミリュウ鎌倉山" 入り口の近くには"ル・ミリュウ鎌倉山"があります。 "ル・ミリュウ鎌倉山"は私が鎌倉で一番好きなケーキ屋さんです。 開店当時はお客さんがあまりいず、心配していましたが、 現在では多くのお客さんが来ているようで、安心しました。 けれど、このコロナ禍でゆくことができず、残念にも感じ、 矛盾した感情を持っています。 "le milieu Kamakurayama" There is "le milieu Kamakurayama" near the entrance. "le milieu Kamakurayama" is my favourite cake shop in Kamakura. At the time of opening, there weren't many customers and I was worried, but now it seems that many customers are coming, so I was relieved. | 相模湾方面 最近、鎌倉広町緑地を散策しました。 緑地内の尾根道から "ル・ミリュウ鎌倉山" が見えたことを思い出しました。 左から続く稜線が私達が歩いた場所だと思われます。 右に江の島灯台 (江ノ島シーキャンドル) が見えます。 尾根道を歩いたときは江ノ島灯台を見ませんでした。 Toward Sagami Bay Recently, we took a walk in the Kamakura Hiromachi Ryokuchi. I remember seeing "le milieu Kamakurayama" from the ridge path in the Ryokuchi. The ridge line from the left seems to be where we walked. | 女性、男性一人づつのウォーカーに会いました。 二人とも身軽な服装だったので、 地元の方ではないかと思いました。 元々ここは地元の人のための公園、'観光地鎌倉'としての スポットになるようなものはないと私は感じています。 I saw one woman and one man walker. Both of them were lightly dressed, so I thought they were locals. I feel that originally here is for locals, here is no such thing as a 'sightseeing spot in Kamakura'. |

木立の中を歩きます。 / Walk in the grove. 平坦な道でなく山道をくだるので、 足元には気をつけつつ進みます。 It is not a flat path, we went down the mountain path, so be careful with our feet. |

| 足元ばかり見つめず、周囲にも目を向け、時々空を見上げます。 道を歩くというのは、人生を歩くことに 似ているな〜と思います。 It is not just staring at my feet, I also look around and sometimes look up at the sky. I think that walking on a path is like walking in life. |

| 2019年9月の台風で倒れた木の幹かと推測します。 11月には気が付きませんでした。 I guess it is the trunk of a tree that collapsed due to the typhoon in September 2019. I didn't notice it in November. |

サイズが大きいシダが木々の下にあると、森林の雰囲気を作ります。
森林の雰囲気だなと感じると、探検気分に浸れ、日常から離れられます。
Large ferns under the trees create a jungle atmosphere.
When I notice the atmosphere of the jungle, I can feel like exploring and get away from my daily routine.
気分転換、運動不足解消の目的には、とても良い場所だと思います。
I think it is a very good place for the purposes of changing my mood and relieving lack of exercise.
C. 自然に戻る / Return to Nature

| 根っこから倒れています。 こんなに大きな存在なのに、 11月の時には気がつかなかった自分に驚きます。 They have fallen lifting the roots. Even though they are so large, I am surprised that I didn't notice them in November.  |

木は倒れてしまったけれど、再び山の一部になってゆくのですね。 The tree has fallen, though it's becoming part of the mountain again, isn't it? |

3) 夫婦池 / Married Couples Pond

| 夫婦池 夫婦池が見えてきました。 葦が倒れて、随分開けた印象になりました。 上下一対の池 (2つの池) を夫婦池 (メオトイケ) と呼びます。 手前は上池 (カミイケ)です。 Married Couples Pond I can see Married Couples Pond. The reeds fell down, giving the impression that there is quite open. The pair of upper and lower ponds (two ponds) is called Meoto-ike : Married Couples Pond. In the foreground is the upper pond. |
夫婦池そのものはあまり魅力的に私には感じられません。
ですが、鯉や鳥を見るのは面白いです。
Rは以前ここで大きなたくさんの亀を目撃しています。
彼は再び亀を見たいのと、それを私に見せたいのとで、ここに来る都度に木道を歩いて探します。
今日で、私はここへは3度来たことになりますが、一度も亀は見ていません。
亀のサイズは、鶴岡八幡宮の源平池の亀と同じくらいのようです。

Creatures
Married Couples Pond itself is not very attractive to me.
But it's interesting to see carps and birds.
R has witnessed a lot of big turtles here before.
He wants to see turtles again and show them to me, so he walks down the wooden path every time he comes here.
Today, I've been here three times, but I've never seen a turtle.
The size of the turtle seems to be about the same as the turtle in Genpei Pond, Tsurugaoka Hachimangū Shrine in Kamakura.
B. 渡り鳥 / Migratory Birds

| ハシビロガモ 今月はじめに、仏行寺 (ブツギョウジ ) へ行く途中で ここで初めて、渡り鳥のハシビロガモ (嘴広鴨) を見ました。 日本では冬鳥です。 この鳥を見たおかげで、夫婦池へ来るときの楽しみが増えました。 今日は、私にとっては、新しい渡り鳥、 キンクロハジロ を見ました。 Northern Shoveler It is a Winter Bird in Japan. Thanks to seeing this bird, I have more fun when I come to Married Couples Pon.  ハシビロガモ シャベルのようなくちばしで水を吸い込み、 植物プランクトンなどを濾して食べます。 Northern Shoveler They suck water with a shovel-like beak, strain phytoplankton, etc. and eat.   家族なのか群れなのか？ Is it a family or a flock? |

| キンクロハジロ キンクロハジロは、黒と白のコントラストが印象的です。 マグ・パイ (カササギ/鵲) を思わせます。 前回もいたのかもしれませんが、私は今回初めて見ました。 Tufted Duck Tufted Duck has an impressive contrast between black and white. Reminiscent of a magpie. It may have been there last time, but this is the first time I've noticed it.  英名は、'Tufted Duck'で、ふさのあるカモです。 |

Tufted Duck is a diving foraging duck.
They dive and eat shellfish such as freshwater clams as their staple food.
When it flies, it runs on the surface of the water."

| 黒のタキシードがペンギンを連想させます。 The dinner jacket effect is reminiscent of penguins.  キンクロハジロを見ことが 最も心に残る散策でした。 Seeing the Tufted Duck was my most memorable element of today's walk. |
4) 帰路 / On Way Home
夫婦池公園 を離れ、公道を使って戻ります。
バス通りに出るまでがずっと登りで、結構きついく、山であることを再認識させられます。
Leave Married Couples Pond and return using the public road.
It's a long climb until I get to the bus street and is pretty tough which again lets me know here is in a mountain.

| 素敵なバイク 可愛い青いバイクの後ろには、 素敵な籠付き (カゴツキ) の黒のバイクが止まっていました。 黒のバイクは、プジョー車でした。 なるほど、バイクに籠のセンスは、フランスっぽい! です。 Lovely Bikes Behind the cute blue bike was a black bike with a lovely basket. The black bike is a Peugeot. Indee~d, the sense of the basket on the motorcycle is like France! |

新しいステッカー/ New Stickers これで、2組の内裏雛 (ダイリビナ) になります。 This makes two sets of Dairibina : 'Hinamatsuri' festival dolls representing the emperor and the empress. 運動不足の体には、短い散策でも結構疲れます。
毎日はできない....。
けれど、散策は、精神面にも良いことを実感しています。
マイペースで、続けます。

| お隣の紅梅 紅梅は満開をすぎて花が少なくなってきています。 この紅梅の実(梅)によって、お隣のKさんが 美味しい梅ジャムを作り、毎年分けてくださいます。 花の季節が終わりかけでちょっと悲しいですが 梅ジャムのことを思うと嬉しくなります(笑)。 Red Ume Next Door The red ume is in full bloom and the number of flowers is decreasing. K san is a next door neighbour who makes delicious Ume (plum) jam from this red ume fruit and we have been given some jam every year. The flower season is about to end, I felt a little sad but it makes me happy when I think of the jam (Laugh). |
A short walk can be quite tiring for a body that lacks exercise.
I can't do it every day ....
However, I realize that walking is also good for the spiritual side.
I will continue at my own pace.
