I and my husband R headed to Skansen after the Vasa Museum on Djurgården Island.

スカンセンは、野外博物館！
そう理解して、ぜひ、行きたいと思いました。
その後、スカンセンに複数回、行ったことのある子ども連れの友人から、
動物園であると聞き、えっ？と驚きました。
スカンセンは、広大な敷地に、野外博物館、動物園、水族館、庭、
カフェ、お土産やさん、野外コンサートホールがあります。
伝統的なイベントも行われるようです。
Anything Goes?
Skansen is an open-air museum!
Understanding that, I really wanted to go.
After that, I was surprised to hear,
from a friend with a child who has been there a few times, that it is also a zoo.
Skansen has an open-air museum, zoo, aquarium, garden, cafes, shops and
open-air concert hall in a vast site.
It seems that traditional events also are held there.

私はブログに載せるにあたり、建物、動物園、その他と
セクション別に扱おうと思いました。
ですが、地図を見るとわかるように、
様々なものがミックスされて点在しているので、
時間経過通りに扱うことにしました。
またミックスされているところがスカンセンの良いところに感じます。

Before I began posting about Skansen on my blog, I thought I would post
by different sections such as buildings, zoo and so on.
However, as you can see from the map, various things are mixed and scattered,
so I decided to handle by time that day.
I feel that Skansen is good because it is mixed.

Since there is the Gröna Lund (amusement park) nearby, I think that children old enough to ride in the amusement park will go there and Skansen will be used by smaller children.

2) 世界で2番目 / Second in the World
創設当時のスカンセンは、野外博物館のみでした。
スウェーデンの民俗学者、アルトゥール・ヘイゼリアス / Artur Hazelius (1833 -1901) が、1881年に野外博物館のノルウェー民俗博物館 / Norsk Folkemuseumに
触発されて、ユールゴーデン島に、野外博物館、スカンセンを設立しました。
これは、世界で二番目の野外博物館でした。
アルトゥール・ヘイゼリアス は、スカンセンよりも先、1873年にユールゴーデン島に北欧博物館 / Nordic Museumを設立していました。
北欧博物館については下記。
スカンセンは、他の野外博物館の良いモデルになりました。

セント・ファガンズ歴史ミュージアム / St Fagans National Museum of History ：★は、アイオワス・サイフェイリオグ ・ピート / Ioweth Cyfeiliog Peate (1901 - 1982) が、スカンセンをモデルにして創設しました。
セント・ファガンズ歴史ミュージアム については下記。

Second in the World
At the time of its founding, Skansen was just an open-air museum.
A Swedish folklore scholar,Artur Hazelius (1833 -1901) founded the open-air museum, 'Skansen', in Djurgården island in 1881, inspired by , an open-air museum, Norsk Folkemuseum.
Skansen was the second open-air museum in the world.
Prior to Skansen, Artur Hazelias founded the Nordic Museum in Djurgården Island in 1873.

Skansen has become a good model for other open-air museums.
St Fagans National Museum of History：★ in Cardiff, Britain was founded by Ioweth Cyfeiliog Peate (1901 - 1982), and modeled after Skansen.

私達は、入る時も出る時も、正面入り口❷ではない
入り口❶ : Hanzelius Entranceを利用しました。
そこにはケーブルカーがあるからです。

When entering and exiting,
we used entrance ❶ : Hanzelius Entrance
which is not the main entrance ❷,
because there are cable cars there.

帰りに撮影したので、チケット売り場は閉まっています。

I took photographs on our way back, so the ticket office was closed.
