1) Säldefall

兵士のコテージ
丸太で建てられた芝生で覆われた一戸建てのコテージで、
1800年頃に建てられ、伝統的な赤で塗装されています。
この農家は芝生で断熱されています。
狼の飼育地域のそばにあります。
Soldier Cottage : ★
It is a single-family cottage built of logs and roofed with turf,
built about 1800 and painted in the traditional red.
This farm house is insulated by sod grass.
It is near the wolf breeding area.

マイルストーン
マイルストーンは旅行者に、どこまで行ったか、
次の休憩場所まであと何マイルあるのかを伝えました。
一般の人が地図を購入できるようになる前は、
道標とマイルストーンだけがガイドでした。 スカンセンの砂利道に隣接して、スウェーデンのさまざまな地域からの
13個のマイル・ストーンがあります。
最も古いものは1666年で、最も新しいものは1811年です。
Milestones : ★
The milestones told travellers how far they had gone and
how many miles were left to the next resting place.
Before the days when ordinary people could buy maps, signposts
and milestones were the only guides.
Bordering the gravel roads of Skansen there are
13 milestones from various parts of Sweden.
The oldest is from 1666 and the youngest from 1811.

Milestones are also in Britain.
Ichirizuka in Japan has the same idea.

エクシャラド農家
この家はエクシャラド/ Ekshärad から移築されました。
エクシャラドは、スウェーデンの
ヴェルムランド郡ハグフォルス自治体 (Hagfors Municipality, Värmland County)
にある地域です。
大きな2階建ての建物は、建築用木材が豊富で、暖房のために燃やす木材が
たくさんあった地区に由来するようです。
その大きさのため、この建物は地元ではマナー(お屋敷 / 館)として
知られていました。
スカンセンには住宅だけが建てられましたが、元の農場には
牛舎、サウナ、小屋、厩舎、納屋もありました。
The Ekshärad Farmhouse : ★
This house comes from Ekshärad.
Ekshärad is a locality in Hagfors Municipality, Värmland County, Sweden.
The large, two-storey building evidently comes from a district which
was rich in building timber and where there was plenty of wood to burn for heating.
On account of its size the building was known locally as The Manor.
Only the dwelling house has been erected at Skansen
but the original farm also had a cowshed, sauna, sheds, stables and barns.
 スカンセンのサイトでは、夏はオープンされていると書かれているのですが、 閉まっていました。 スウェーデンの夏は、もう終わったのかもしれません。 The Skansen website says it's open in the summer, but it was closed. The Swedish summer may be over.  |
4) 現役のセグロラ教会 / Active Seglora Church

セグロラ教会
セグロラ/ Seglora の村にあった古い木造の教会は、1916年に保存されて
スカンセンに移されました。
私たちが行った時には、どなたかの結婚式が終わったようで、
ここは今もって教会として機能しているのだと思いました。
のちになって、今日、教会では礼拝、結婚式や洗礼式が行われ、
コンサートも数多く開催されていると知りました。
Seglora Church
When we went, somebody's wedding seemed to have finished and
I thought it was still functioning as a church.
Later, I found out that nowadays services are held in the church,
along with weddings and christenings and a number of concerts are also held there.

教会の墓地は、セグロラの教会墓地の古い部分に基づいています。
教会の墓地にはヴェステルゴットランドのセグロラからの3つの墓石と
ラケビー教会からの4つの十字架がありますが、実際の墓はありません。
The churchyard is based on the older parts of the churchyard at Seglora.
There are three gravestones from Seglora and
four crosses from Rackeby church in Västergötland in the churchyard
but there are no actual graves.

5) 鍛冶屋 / Smithy
元来、私は鍛冶屋や鍛冶屋の仕事が好きです。
私が陶芸をしていて、火を扱い(実際は電気窯ですが）、火によって物質が変化するという点が好きです。
その面白さが鍛冶屋と共通しているからなのかもしれません。
ですが、陶芸をする前から、鍛冶屋は好きでした。
それはきっと、昔話に鍛冶屋が出てくるからなのではないかと、自分では思っています。

Smithy
Basically, I like blacksmiths and blacksmith jobs.
I'm doing ceramics, and I like the fact that ceramics handles fire, and the substance changes with the fire (actually my kiln is electric).
Maybe it's because the fun is similar to that of a blacksmith.
But even before I did pottery, I liked blacksmiths.
I'm wondering if my attraction is because blacksmiths appear in some old stories.

鍛冶屋
鍛冶屋は土の床で、低い建物です。
鍛冶屋が鉄の色を判断できるようにするため、
鍛冶屋は非常に暗く、非常に小さな窓があります。
鍛冶屋は主に、ロック、鉄製の取り付け具、ヒンジ、ドアラッチなど、
農場で必要とされるより小さなアイテムを生産していました。
鍛冶屋は、農場のさまざまな道具、台車、カートの修理にも重要でした。
The Smithy : ★
The Smithy (Smedjan) is a low building with an earth floor.
It was built at the beginning of the 19th century and
was originally the farm smithy at Bruskebo Farm in Uppland.
For the smith to be able to judge the colour of the iron,
the smithy is rather dark with very small windows.
The smithy produced mainly smaller items that were needed on the farm
such as locks, iron fittings, hinges and door latches.
The smithy was also important for repairing the farm’s various tools,
carriages and carts.  |
