A. ようやく... / Finally....

ずいぶん前から、寺門孝之 (1961 -) 氏の個展は訪れたいと思っていました。

が、寺門孝之氏の個展は、毎年、ピンポイントギャラリーであり、ギャラリーが新年オープンした最初にあります。

私が1月が家を出にくい環境下にあり、また年末年始の個人的行事で疲れていて、外出ができず、今まで寺門氏の個展に行く事ができませんでした。

ですが、本当〜に、ようやく、今年、訪れることができました。

Finally....

I have wanted to visit a Takayuki Terakado (1961 -) Exhibition for a long time..

The Exhibition is held at the Pinpoint Gallery every year, the first exhibition when the gallery opens in the New Year.

Usually in January I cannot leave home and am tired from personal occasions during the end of year and New Year, so I cannot go to the Exhibition.

However, finally, finally, I was able to visit this year...with R.

B. 妖精の粉 / Fairy Dust

寺門氏の絵は、見ている者に幸福の粉または妖精の粉を撒き散らしているようです。

ティンカーベルの粉を浴びると、'信じる心を持てば空を飛ぶ事が出来る'ようになりますが、寺門氏の妖精の粉は、見ている者を幸せにするという感じがします。

ぜひ、一家に一枚、彼の絵を！と思いますが(笑)、値段的にちょっと今の私には手が出なかったので、本を買わせていただきました。

1月に買った本をディスプレイコーナーに飾っています。

なかなか、本棚へ収納することができません。



Fairy Dust

Terakado's pictures seem to scatter the happy dust or fairy dust over the viewer.

When you take Tinker Bell 's powder, 'you will be able to fly in the sky if you have a heart to believe', but Terakado' s Fairy Dust seems to make viewers happy.

Please every home has his picture! I thought that (laugh), I was not able to buy because the price is high for me for now, so I bought his book.

I have kept the book in the display corner since I bought it in January.

I cannot tidy it away on a bookshelf.

金をカンバスの裏側から使用している作品があると説明を受けました。

2014年に山種美術館で開催された"輝ける金と銀 ; 琳派 (リンパ) 展"にその手法を用いた作品があったことを思い出しました。

残念ながら、タイトルも作者も思い出せません。

カンバスの裏側からというのは、金の輝きが柔らかくなりつつも、金の強さは残って、それはそのまま天使の個性につながっているように思えました。

Gold

I heard an explanation about gold in his works, that he uses gold from back of canvases.

I remembered that there was a work using that method in the "Gold and Silver Exhibition" held at Yamatane Museum of Art in 2014.

Unfortunately, I cannot remember the title or artist.

I felt that if gold is painted from the back of the canvas, this method could make the gold's glow soft, though the strength of gold remains which seems to create the personality of the angel.

自分の中から、幸せ色したオーラが湧き上がってくるような気持ちになりました。

寺門孝之氏の個展は、年のはじめに非常にふさわしい内容であると思います。

I felt like a happy-colored aura gushed up from inside of me.

In my view, Terako's Exhibition is very appropriate at the beginning of the year.
