1) ランチ / Lunch
神戸に住んでいた時に、大阪府立国際児童文学館で開講された 'ムーミンゼミ' で
出会った友人たち、Mさん、Sさん、Miちゃんと、この日に会いました。
Rは、彼女たちに会うのは、初めてです。
Miちゃんは、ムーミンの着ぐるみの仕事をしていて、写真も見せてもらいました。
Miちゃんのムーミンに対する愛情の深さに感動しました。
Sさんは、それぞれにクリスマスソックスに入ったビスケットのお土産をめいめいに用意していただき、ロビンと私は二人分いただきました。
Mさんが、Rの食の問題を解決してくれる店を探がすのに苦労してくださり、神戸入りの前に神戸の美味しいパン屋も紹介していただきました。
また、MさんとSさんには、毎春、手作りのイカナゴの佃煮も送っております。
すべてに対して、感謝です。
Lunch
When I lived in Kobe, I met with friends M san, S san, and Mi chan who met in 'Moomin Seminar' which was held by 'International
Institute for Children's Literature, Osaka Prefecture', and we met them on this day.
It was the first time R met them.
Mi chan acts as Moomin in costume, she also showed her photographs, I was touched by Mi chan's depth of affection for Moomin.
S san readied biscuit souvenirs within Christmas Stockings for each person, and R and
I were each given souvenirs.
M san had a hard time finding a cafe that solve R's food problems, and also introduced delicious bakeries in Kobe before our trip.
Thank you for everything.

店員さんが親切であること、気軽な雰囲気があること、素材にこだわっていることが人気の理由かと思われます。
It seems that the staff are kind, that there is a casual atmosphere and that they stick to the ingredients, I think these are reasons they are popular.

2) 食後の カフェ / Cafe After Lunch
神戸は、'カフェの町'とRに説明し、多数のカフェをリサーチしたのに関わらず、
結局時間がなく、胃の許容量もなく、それほど行けませんでした。
Rは不満そうでした。
ごめんね！でも、素敵なお店にはたくさん行きましたよね？
I explained to R that Kobe is a "Town of Cafes"and although I researched many cafes, in the whole trip we did not have enough time or stomach's capacities to visit them all.
R seemed unsatisfied. Sorry!
However, we visited many good restaurants and cafes, didn't we?

というのがキャッチコピー。

Tea in the tea room is ordered from the production area, their catch phrase is
"Our tea is not British tea".

| キャトル・セゾン・神戸元町でキャトル・セゾンのお店を見つけ、 嬉しくなりました。 私が東京に住んでいた時によく利用していたのは銀座のキャトル・セゾン、 英国から帰国後は、自由が丘のお店にもたま〜に行っています。 神戸にもあるのですね〜。 I found a "quatre saisons" shop in Motomachi, Kobe, I was happily surprised. When I lived in Tokyo, I often used to go to "quatre saisons" in Ginza, after returning to Japan from UK, I occasionally go to their shop in Jiyugaoka. 画像は下記より / This from below ★  チェコの帽子と、折り畳み傘予てより、ずっと欲しいと思っていた 帽子と折りたたみ傘を 'キャトル・セゾン' で買いました。 I had wanted to buy a hat and a folding umbrella for a long time and in "quatre saisons" I found a Czech hat and an umbrella which I bought. |

永田良介商店は、1872年(明治5年)に創業しています。
キャトル・セゾン・神戸の店内から、永田良介商店に行く階段があり、そのお店も行きました。

私一人でしたら、その階段を登ることもなかったでしょうけれど、家具好きのRが一緒でしたので、永田良介商店へ行くことができました。

If I was alone, I would have never climbed that stairway, but I was with R who likes the furniture, so I could visit the shop.
