Exotic Garden
トピアリー•ローン/ Topiary Lawn 横の"Hovel" (もと牛小屋）を通り抜けると、
"エキゾチック•ガーデン / Exotic Garden"に出ます。
敷地としては広くありませんが、個性豊かな植物がぎっしりつまっていて、楽しめます。
クリストファー•ハミルトン•ロイド卿（1869 - 1944）はここを'ファーマル•ローズ ガーデン'にデザインしていましたが、後に病気が発生し、丈夫なオロピカルの植物に植え替えました。
この庭はカラーポイントとして、主にダリアとカンナを使用しています。
クリストファー•ロイドの愛犬ダックスフンドの名前はここから来ているのですね。

In this garden, they use mainly dahlias and cannas as colour points.
I understand the name of Christopher Lloyd's pet dogs came from this.
We walk through "Hovel" beside "Topiary Lawn" and then it was the "Exotic Garden".
The area is not so wide, however, strong personality plants were jammed in the garden, so it was fun!
Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869 -1944) designed a formal garden here, later it became diseased, and was replaced by tropical plants which are quite hardy.
