Close to our B&B
食事がおいしかったので、13日と15日の二日間も行ってしまいました。
Their meals were delicious, so we went there twice, 13th and 15th.

| 飲む前に全部のテイスティングをさせてくれました。 ティステイングは、聞けば、ほぼ全部のパブでさせてくれます。 日本はテイズティングにもお金がかかるところがありますね。 それを 'テイスティング' と呼ぶのか、わかりませんが...。 They gave us a taste of each beer. In Britain, most pubs give us a tasting if we ask. I think some pubs in Japan offer tasting at a charge. I do not know if that can be called 'a tasting'. |

| 英国のパブのテーブルは、べたべたしているところが結構あるけれども、 ここはすっきり！ ろうそくの飾りは、フェルトを利用しています。 このアイディア、好き！ Tables in British pubs are often sticky, though here is clean! The decoration of the candle used felt. I like this idea.  |

| フィッシュ アンド チップス ディ たまたまこの日はスペシャルデイで、フィッシュアンドチップスと注文すると １杯 (1パイント: 約560ml) のビアが無料でした！ラッキー！ お皿の緑の食べ物は、豆のペーストで、 'マッシー •ピー / Mushy Peas'と呼ばれ、 'フィッシュ アンド チップス'の付け合わせとして良く用いられます。 Fish and Chips Day By chance, today was a special day which is Fish and Chips with one free pint of beer. Lucky! 'Mushy Peas' This is very common to have with Fish and Chips. |

| 私は鴨〜〜！美味しい〜！ そして〜〜魚料理(下の写真)も！ これはイマイチ... 英国のパブは基本的には肉料理の方が得意だと思います。 I had duck~~! Lovely~~! And I had a fish main dish (below photograph), too! This was not so lovely... I think basically meat cooking in British pubs is better than their fish cooking.  |
