'Tenterden Town Station' is the starting station for this steam railway.
(Kent & East Sussex Railway)

The last stop is Bodiam Station.

'Bodiam Castle' is there which is managed by the National Trust.

1) 保存鉄道 / Heritage Railway 

'テンタダン町 駅'は、ケントと東サセックスを走る保存鉄道の駅です。

この路線は、1900年に開通され、そのときは、ロルベンダン / Rolvenden 駅まででした。

開通３年後に北へ延長され、テンタダン町 より近くに新しい駅が建設され、'テンタダン町 駅'ができました。

この路線は、1961年に閉鎖されはしたものの、テンタデン/ Tenterden とボディアム/ Bodiam 間が観光目的の保存鉄道として、テンタデン / Tenterden 鉄道会社によって買われ、1974年に再開通されました。

英国には、保存鉄道として100以上の路線が保護されていますが、日本にはまだこのような路線はありません。

Heritage Railway 

Tenterden Town Station is a heritage railway station on the border Kent and East Sussex.

When  the railway was opened in 1900, Rolvenden station was the last stop, then it was known as 'Tenterden'.

After three years, the line extended north, a station closer to Tenterden was constructed called 'Tenterden Town'.

Although the line was closed in 1961, Tenterden Railway Company bought the line which is between Tenterden Town and Bodiam as a Heritage Railway in 1974, so it restarted. 

Britain has over 100 heritage railways, however, Japan doesn't have any.
