1) 谷中 / Yanaka
召田 能里子 (メスダ ノリコ)さんと、友人Tさん の
版画のグループ展 : '未来への視座, 19' が、谷中の 'ギャラリー Ten' で、ありました。
二人には、英国留学(陶芸)前に通っていた陶芸教室・'イエロークレイ' で、会いしました。
召田さんの版画作品は何度も見ています。
Tさんが版画制作を始められているのは聞いていましたが、作品を見るのは初めてでした。

YanakaA friend, Noriko Mesuda and another friend T San, took part in a group exhibition of prints : "Perspective on the Future, 19" in 'Gallery Ten' in Yanaka, Tokyo.
I had met them in the pottery classes of 'Yellow Clay' that I attended before studying ceramics in Britain.
I have seen Mesuda's prints many times.
I heard that T San had started making prints, but this was the first time I saw her work.
2) 友人の作品 / Works by Friends
召田さんは、すでに版画家で、これまでに個展を2回(2018年と2019年)、開かれています。
私は、彼女の作品が好きで、2018年の個展の作品を1つ買わせていただきました。
召田さんの2018年の個展については下記。
今回は人物2点が展示され、さらっとしながらも暖かみが感じられる作品で、彼女の寛容な人柄が察しられます。
相変わらず、お洒落なセンスにも魅了されます。
Tさんの作品のレイアウトと色のメリハリの良さに驚かされ、生まれ持ったセンスの良さを感じます。
どちらの方の作品も素敵でした。

Works by Friends
Mesuda is already a printmaker and has twice held solo exhibitions, 2018 and 2019.
I like her work and bought one in her 2018 solo exhibition.
About Mesuda's exhibition, below.
This time she showed two portraits and they are works which while being light also have warmth, and I can see her generous personality.
As usual, I was charmed by her fashionable taste.
I was surprised by the layout and sharpness of the colours of T San's work, and I felt her innate good sense.
Both friend's works were lovely.
このグループの展覧会には、数回きています。
作品のレベルが高く、いつも驚かされますし、刺激にもなります。
また、プリント本も制作されていて、その質の高さにも関心します。
皆さんに共通しているのは、都会のセンスだと思います。
逆に言うと、ちょっとコギレイにまとまりすぎているところでしょうか？
こういう側面は、コインの裏表のようなものですね。

Exhibits by Others
I have been to this group's exhibition several times.
The level of the work is high, and it is always astonishing and inspiring.
Also, print books are produced, and I am also interested in their high quality.
I think that what they all have in common is an urban sense.
To put it another way around, are their works a little too neatly organized?
These aspects are like the front and back of a coin.
