ナタリア・ゴンチャロワ / Natalia Goncharova 展 の後に、私と夫Rは、メンバーズ・バー / "MEMBERS BAR" : ★に行きました。バーと言っても、カフェ・レストランに感じます。

"THE EY EXHIBITION VAN GOGH AND BRITAIN" : ★ に行った際に、、テートの会員になりました。
会員になると有料展覧会が無料、会員のカフェまたはバーを使用できます。
今回、初めて、テート・モダンの会員のカフェへ行きました。
会員のカフェについては、Rの方がずっと興味を持っていました。
彼が私に会員になるよう勧めてくれたのは、もしかしたら彼が会員のカフェへ行きたかったのも1つの理由かもしれません。
通常会員は、会員のカフェやバーに、同伴者、大人なら1人、子供なら6人が許されています。
'子供6人'というところに、多くの英国の美術館、博物館が無料である理由と同じモノを感じます。
文化やアートに関する理解と楽しむ機会を普及する姿勢が高い国なのだと思います。

If you become a member, you can use the members' cafes and visit special exhibitions without charge.
This time, we went to the member's cafe in Tate Modern for the first time.
R has been much more interested in member's cafes than me.
Perhaps one reason he encouraged me to be the member was that he wanted to go to member's cafes.
Regular members are allowed to be accompanied in member's cafes and bars by one adult and 6 children.
The point of '6 children', makes me think it is for the same reason that many British museums are free.
I think Britain has a strong attitude to promote understanding and enjoyment of culture and art.
B. 食事 / Meal
デリカ・テッセン風のスタイルで、食事のサービスは行われています。
滞在時間短縮が目的なのだと思います。
ちゃんとした食事がしたい場合は、レストランへ！
会員のレストランはなかったと思います。

Rは食の問題があるので、スタッフと話した後に、
彼用のサンドイッチを作ってもらいました。
白ワインは私のです。

Meals are served in the style of a Delicatessen.
I think that the purpose is to shorten the time stayed.
If you want a proper meal, go to restaurants!
I think there is no member's restaurant.

チキンと野菜
玉ねぎが入っているのでRは食べられません。 私にとっては、玉ねぎの味が食べられるだけで、満足。 Chicken and Vegetables
This includes onion, R cannot eat, because R can't eat onion.
For me, just being able to eat the taste of onions is satisfying.

どんどん新しい高層ビルができてきます。 Skyscrapers Group New skyscrapers are being built. 
ミレニアム歩道橋
ミレニアム橋は、2000年に開通しましたが、予想を上回る利用客で対応しきれず、
大きな揺れができ、一時閉鎖されました。
橋についたあだ名が 、"フラフラ橋"。
2002年に再開通、現在まで無事に役目を果たしています。 Millennium Footbridge
Millennium Footbridge was opened in 2000,
but it was temporarily closed due to a large swaying motion,
the resonance caused by more than the expected number of walkers.
The nickname of the bridge became "Wobbly Bridge".
It was reopened in 2002 and has been fulfilling its duty until now.

1921年開通 設計：アーネスト・ジョージ / Ernest George (1839 - 1922)と
バシル・モット / Basil Mott (1859 - 1938)
今のサザーク橋は2代目になります。
英国指定建造物の第2級に指定されています。
ミレニアム歩道橋とロンドン橋の間にあります。
テムズにかかる橋の中で交通量が最も少ないそうです。
(他の橋が閉鎖中を除く)
確かに、この写真でも人影がまばらです。
Southwark Bridge Opened in 1921 Design by Ernest George (1839 - 1922) and Basil Mott (1859 - 1938). The current Southwark Bridge is the second.
It is designated Listed Building Grade II.
It is located between the Millennium Footbridge and London Bridge.
It seems that the bridge has the least traffic of the bridges over the Thames.
(Except when other bridges are closed)
Certainly, even in this photograph, the figures are sparse.

カフェの南側には、新しい建物：
ブラバトニック・ビル / Blavatinik Building が見えます。
2016年に開館しています。
設計 : ヘルツォーク&ド・ムーロン / Herzog & de Meuron
当初の名前は、'スイッチ・ハウス' でしたが、ソ連 (1922 - 1991) 出身の実業家、レオナルド・ブラバトニック / Leonardo Blavatnik (1957 -) の多額の寄付により、 'ブラバトニック ビル / Blavatnik' Buildingと改名されました。
建物の名前を変えてしまう寄付額は、いくらくらいなのでしょう？？？
Blavatnik Building
On the south side of the cafe you can see the new building : 'Blavatinik Building'.
The original name was 'Switch House', but it was renamed 'Blavatnik Building'
with a large donation from Leonardo Blavatnik (1957 -), a businessman,
who came from the Soviet Union (1922 - 1991).
How much was the donation amount to change the name of the building? ? ?

ザ・シャード / The Shard
ザ・シャード (左)は、複合ビル。
ザ・シャードはSFの建物のようです。
2012年竣工 / 2013年開業 設計 : レンゾ・ピアノ / Renzo Piano (1937 ~ ) ポンピドゥー・センターを設計した一人です！ 私がポンピドゥーに行ったのは、随分前のことですが、 まずは、建物に感動したことを覚えています。
詳細は忘れてしまいましたが、テート・モダンように、
ポンピドゥーも大好きになりました。
ですが、1度きりしか行ったことがありません。
また行けるといいな〜...。
The Shard
The Shard on the left is a complex building.
The Shard is like a science fiction building.
Completed in 2012 / Open in 2013 Design by Renzo Piano (1937 ~ ) He is one of the people who designed the Centre Pompidou! I visited the Pompidou a long time ago, and anyway first I remember being impressed by the building.
I've forgotten the details, but I love Pompidou like Tate Modern.
But I've only been there once.
I wish I could go again...

GRANVILLE - GROSSMAN MEMBERS ROOM : ★ is a member's cafe on the 8th floor of the 'Blavatnik Building'.

私は、ローズ・ワイリー をこのカフェで初めて知りました。

"はさみ少女 / Scissor Girls"
入り口近くのにもローズ・ワイリーの絵がありました。 2年に1度、テートの会員が、テートがすでにコレクションしている作品がある 現代美術のアーティストの一人に、依頼し作品を制作してもらいます。 "はさみ少女 / Scissor Girls" は、 'GRANVILLE - GROSSMAN MEMBERS ROOM'のために ローズ・ワイリー によって制作されました。 "はさみ少女" は、2019年10月まで展示。 "Scissor Girls" There was also a picture by Rose Wiley near the entrance. 興味がわき、最終的に入り口の壁の絵に気づきました。

Actually, that I first noticed the 'Glass Scissors' was curious,
I finally noticed the pictures on the entrance wall.  |

ワン・ブラックファイアーズ/ One Blackfriars
2018年竣工 / 複合ビル テムズ川の南に新しい高層ビル：One Blackfriars (中)ができました。 あだ名は、'花瓶'、'ブーメラン'。 ノーベル賞受賞者で、アメリカの経済学者の ロバート・シラー/ Robert Shiller (1946 - )は 'おなか / The Tummy' と名付けました。 以前は、セインズベリー・スーパーマーケットの本部があった敷地です。
One Blackfriars
Completed in 2018 / Complex building
Nicknames are 'The Vase' or 'The Boomerang'.
Originally on the site was the headquarters of Sainsbury's supermarket.
ワン・ブラックファイアーズは、高さ170 mの52階建てのタワーと、
それぞれ6階と4階の2つの小さな建物で構成されています。
One Blackfriars is made up of a 52 storey tower, 170m high and
2 smaller buildings of 6 and 4 storeys. |

ネオ・バンクサイド / Neo Bankside
テイトモダンのお隣にも新しいビルができていました。
2017年に私がここに来た時には、工事中で完成予想図が告知されてました。
３棟完成していました。
上階はペントハウス : ★で販売されています。
テイトモダンから中が少し見られます。
そういう目を気にしないお金持ちが買うのでしょうね。
Neo Bankside
There are new buildings next to Tate Modern.
When I came here in 2017,
architectural illustrations were displayed during construction.
Three buildings were completed.
The upper floors are sold as penthouses : ★.
You can see something of inside from Tate Modern.
Probably rich people who do not care about such eyes buy.

会員のカフェは、他よりもすいていましたので、リラックスできます。
また、カフェだけでなく、他のスタッフも私が会員であることを知ると、親切さが増します。
私は約３ヶ月の英国滞在で、複数回テート系の美術館に行きましたので、会員になった甲斐はあったと思います。
The member's cafe was less crowded than others, so I can relax.
Also, the staff knowing that I am a member, not just general public, increases their kindness.
I stayed in England for about 3 months and went to Tate museums a few times, so
I think it was worthwhile to become a member.
