この日のテート・モダンで最も行きたかったのは、
"Olafur Eliasson in real Life"2019年7月11日 ~ 2020年1月5日
でした。
オラファー・エリアソン / Olafur Eliasson (1967 -) は、デンマーク生まれのアイスランド共和国のアーティストです。
現在は、ベルリンに仕事場があり、そこを拠点としています。

私が初めて彼の作品を知ったのは、2003年にテート・モダンで開催された、彼の
"ウェザー・プロジェクト"：
"THE UNILEVER SERIES: OLAFUR ELIASSON: THE WEATHER PROJECT"
2003年10月16日 ~ 2004年3月21日
でした。
私も、そして多くの人々がそのプロジェクトに感動しました。
彼はこのプロジェクトで成功し、彼は有名になりました。
ウェザー・プロジェクト 2003 - 04
ウェザー・プロジェクトは、タービンホールで
行われたインスタレーションの1つでした。

What I wanted to go to most in Tate Modern on that day was

"Olafur Eliasson in real Life"
11th of July, 2019 – 5th of January, 2020.
Olafur Eliasson (1967 -) is a Danish–Icelandic artist.
The first time I knew of him and his work was "The Weather Project" at Tate Modern in 2003 :
16th of October, 2003 - 21st of March, 2004.
I and many people were impressed with the project.
He succeeded in this project and he became famous.

あなたの二重の灯台 プロジェクト / Your Double-Lighthouse Projection : ★ は、2002年に
テート・モダンに展示されました。
当時、私はまだ日本にいましたので、このプロジェクトは体験していません。
オラファー・エリアソン は、"光、水、気温などの要素的な素材を使用して、視聴者の体験を向上させる大規模なインスタレーション" 制作を続けています。

今回の展覧会 : "Olafur Eliasson in real Life" もその1つでした。

反射パネルによって、視聴者を囲み、
光と空間を視聴者('Your')それぞれが体験する試みです。

Your Double-Lighthouse Projection : ★ was exhibited at Tate Modern in 2002.
At the time, I was still in Japan, so I haven't experienced this project.
Olafur Eliasson continues to work on "large-scale installations art employing elemental materials such as light, water, and air temperature to enhance the viewer’s experience".

地球環境の急激かつ不可逆的な変化に直面している私たちは、今すぐ、生きるためのシステムをデザインし直し、未来を再設計しなくてはなりません。
そのためには、あらゆるものに対する私たちの眼差しを根本的に再考する必要があります。

"Sometimes the river is the bridge is about a fundamental shift in perspective that allows us to see that which is not obvious, the invisible.
In the face of the collapse of our planetary boundaries, there is an urgent need to redesign the systems in which we live, to re-engineer the future.
For that to happen, we need to reconsider fundamentally how we see everything.
Up until now, we have organized our present based on the past; we now need to shape our present according to what we want from the future.
The potential of this perspective shift is that it can help us reconsider the traditional idea of progress.”

パンフレットは捨てないで、手にしたビジターがこれを使って 創作してくれるようにエリアソンは望んでいます。

Eliasson wants visitors to use the leaflet to create, rather than throw it away.

オラファー・エリアソン展は、好評で、とても混んでいました。
体験型の現代アートは、現在、非常に人気があります。
アートで人々を楽しませるというのは、素晴らしいことだな〜と実感します。
パンフレットは、珍しいことに、あれこれ説明していないものです。
その点からも、体験重視の彼の考え方が伝わってきます。
現代美術があまり好きない夫のRは、多くの場合、特別展(有料)には私と一緒に入場しません。
ですが、今回は、一緒に入場し、彼も楽しみました。

Olafur Eliasson Exhibition
The Olafur Eliasson exhibition was well received and very crowded.
Experience-based contemporary art is very popular today.
I find it wonderful to entertain people with art.
The leaflet unusually, does not explain this much.
From that point, Eliasson's way of thinking that emphasizes experience is conveyed.
My husband R, who doesn't like contemporary art, often doesn't enter with me in special exhibitions (with fee).
But this time, we went together and he enjoyed with me.
