'アテネウム美術館' 開催のアアルト展: "ALVAR AALTO – ART AND THE MODERN FORM" (2017年5月11日  - 2017年9月24日) に行きました。

 アルヴァ・アアルト / Alvar Aalto (1898 -1976) は、最も国際的に有名なフィンランドの建築家兼デザイナーです。

The 'Ateneum Art Museum' had a special exhibition : "ALVAR AALTO – ART AND THE MODERN FORM"(11th of May 2017 - 24th of September, 2017) and we visited it.

Alvar Aalto (1898 -1976) was is the most internationally famous Finnish architect and designer.
About other of his works in this trip ;

手前は最初の妻アイノ・アアルト / Aino Aalto (1894 -1949)が好きだったという
ゼブラ柄のファブリックのタンクチェア(アームチェア400)。

頂上には、'アアルトレッグ / Aalto's legs' と呼ばれる３本の曲げ木でつくられた
アルテック/ Artek の不朽の名作「スツール60」。
もともとヴィープリ図書館 / Viipuri Municipal Library / Vyborg Library 
で使用するために作られたのものでした。

At the front is a tank chair (armchair 400) in the fabric of the zebra pattern
that Aalto's first wife, Aino Aalto (1894 -1949) liked.

At the back on top are the stools called 'Aalto's legs', 
which is an immortal Artek design, 'Stool 60'.
Originally, the stool was designed 
for the Vyborg Library / Viipuri Municipal Library.

Aalto was Friendly with Artists 
アアルトは数カ国語で話すことができたので、国を超えてアートの友人やネットワークを作ることができました。

Aalto could speak a few languages so he made friends across countries and international networks.

ここに写真はありませんが、多才な作家、モホリ＝ナジ・ラースロー (1895 - 1946)とも交流がありました。

Here does not have photograph of a versatile artist,  László Moholy-Nagy (1895 - 1946), though Aalto was friends with him, too.

鉄道広場 (Railway Square)で
ビール・フェスティバル: "Big Beers - Small Breweries 2017" 
が開催されていました。
残念ながら私達は行けませんでした。

there was a Beer Festival : "Big Beers - Small Breweries 2017",
in the Railway Square.
Unfortunately we could not go there.


この日は、アアルトの世界を満喫しました。

I fully enjoyed the world of Aalto on that day.
