ヘレン・シャルフベック / Helen Schjerbeck (1862 -1946) は、フィンランド人の女性画家です。

私は、この部屋に来るまで、彼女を知りませんでした。

ここでは、部屋の中心に、スクリーン : "マルチメディア・ディスプレイ" が設置されています。

'アテネウム美術館'の館内では、フィンランド語、スエーデン語、ロシア語、英語など複数の言葉によって解説されていたので、インターナショナルであること、地続きのヨーロッパであることを感じていました。

が、初めて、そのスクリーンで、日本語が他の言語と同様に、解説に使用されていたので、驚いたと同時に嬉しくもありました。

スクリーン内の説明で、そのスクリーンが大日本印刷 (Dai Nippon Printing / DNP) によって開発：★されていたことを知りました。

ありがとう！大日本印刷さん！

スクリーンでは、ヘレン・シャルフベックの水彩画や素描、版画がデジタル化されて、フィンランド語、スウェーデン語、英語、日本語の4カ国語で解説されています。

彼女の水彩画や素描などは傷みやすい素材なので、展示の機会がまれでしたが、このデジタル化により、半永久的な展示が可能になりました。

The multimedia system was improved when the travelling exhibition :
"Helene Schjerfbeck - Reflections" was in Japan, 2015 - 2016 : ★.

HelenSchjerbeck (1862-1946) was a Finnish woman painter.

I did not know about her until I came into this room.

In the centre of the room is a screen : 'Multimedia Display'.

The explanations in 'Ateneum Art Museum' are in a few languages ; Finnish, Swedish, Russian and English, so I felt here is international and adjoining Europe.

However, in this screen was the first time Japanese is used like the other languages, I was surprised as well as I was glad.

I found out  from the screen, that the system for using the screen was developed by  a Japanese Company : Dai Nippon Printing (Dai Nippon Printing / DNP)  : ★.

In the screen, Schjerbeck's watercolours, drawings and prints are digitized and are commented on in four languages : Finnish, Swedish, English and Japanese.

These watercolours, drawings and prints are highly sensitive to light and can only rarely be placed on display in an exhibition, though this digitizing has enabled people to view the works at any time.

スクーリンをタッチして、動かすことがおもしろく、

紹介されるヘレン・シャルフベックの作品も素敵でした。

この部屋に来た段階で、この美術館での目的の 'カレワラの部屋' に

到達していなかったので、

スクリーンを満喫できるほどは、この部屋にいられませんでしたし、

壁の展示も見ることができませんでした。

I enjoyed making the images on the screen move by my touch 

and it shows Helen Schjerbeck's works are interesting and lovely.

When I reached this room, I still had not visited "Kalevala Room" 

which was my main purpose in this Museum,

so I could not stay here as long as I wanted,

and also I did not look at the display on the walls.

私には、 'アテネウム美術館'訪問は2、3時間ではとてもたりない、興味深い美術館でした。

For me,  2 or 3 hours  is not enough to visit 'Ateneum Art Museum' as it is an interesting museum.
