内部での撮影許可もしていただきましたし、冊子もいただいてしまったので気持ち的に少額の寄付金をと思いました。
ですが、ユーロのコインを持っていませんでした。
係りの人にユーロのコインを全く持っていないので、ポンドのコインで寄付しても良いか、それをどこに入れたら良いかと聞こうと思いました。
それで、係りの人にユーロのコインを全く持っていないと言った段階で、
「それではこちらへ」
いやいやいや、そういう意味でなくて、あの〜、私は、ただポンドのコインで寄付したいだけで....
最後には、係りの人が寄付金箱の場所を指差してくれて、そこに入れました。
その寄付金箱は、周囲のデザインに組み込まれるようにあり、私には見つけずらいものでした。
Here, entry is free and the leaflets are free, too.
次回があれば、ぜひ訪ねたいです。
水の教会にも行ってみたい....
I would visit the Myyrnaki Church, it is known as the 'Light Church', and also visit Otaniemi Chapel which they say is the church which gave inspiration to Tadao Ando (1941 ~) when he designed the 'Chapel of Water' in Hokkaido, Japan.
However, the Myyrnaki Church and Otaniemi Chapel are not in Helsinki, so I could not make them.
If I have a next time, I would really visit them.
And also I would visit the 'Chapel of Water'.

| これ、な〜んだ？ 木の教会、"カンッピ礼拝堂" です。 K2S 設計事務所 のミッコ・スマネン / Mikko Summanen (1971 ~ )、 ニコ・サーロエア/ Nikko Summanen 、 キン・モリントゥラ/ Kimmo Lintula により設計されました。 高さは11,5m、3種類の異なる木材でできています。 What is this!? This is a "Wooden Church" : "Kampin Chapel". It was designed by 'K2S Architects Ltd.' ; Kimmo Lintula, Niko Sirola and Mikko Summanen (1971 ~). The height is 11,5 m and it is made of three different types of wood. 
カンッピ・ショッピング・センター前の広場の

| 木の教会の室内図 礼拝堂のロビーには何人かの係りの人がいます。 "相談がある人はこちらの部屋へ" というような内容が書かれた案内板がありました。 この教会の裏側で何人かのホームレスらしき人も見ました。 この環境の中にあえて、この教会を作ったのだと思いました。 Wooden Chapel's Interior Plan There are some staff in the lobby. The sign board says something like : "if you want to have any advice and talk, here is a room". I saw some people who looked like homeless in the back. I thought they deliberately built this chapel in this environment. |
 祭壇に十字架のみのシンプルさにも、 内部の静かさにも驚きます。 礼拝堂なので、神への祈りの場としての 最低限必要なものが用意されているのでしょう。 クリスチャンでない私には、この空間に 「あなたにとって本当に大切なものはなんですか？」 と問われているような気がしました。 Silence The cross on the altar is simple and the silence inside together made me surprised. I understand here is a chapel, so there are just the essentials to pray to God. I am not Christian but I felt that this space asks me "What is a truly important for you?"  |

(This from the Leaflet) I was quite impressed that the religion and the administration manage together. |
3) 大きな度量 / Generosity
ここでは、礼拝堂へ入ることも冊子をもらうことも無料なのです。
内部での撮影許可もしていただきましたし、冊子もいただいてしまったので気持ち的に少額の寄付金をと思いました。

福祉と宗教、環境、人々への寄り添い方、北欧デザインのシンプルさの意義などなどいろいろ感じた場所でした。

| 英語版と日本語版の冊子 日本語版があることに驚きました。 "カンッピ礼拝堂"の前に "岩の教会 (テンペリアウキオ教会)" に行きましたが、 そこは日本語の説明はどこにもありませんでした。 The Leaflets in English and Japanese I was surprised they have it in Japanese. We went to The "Rock Church" ("Temppeliaukio Church") before this chapel, it does not have any explanation in Japanese.  冊子には "開館時間中、礼拝堂のロビーには教会および健康・社会福祉部の職員が 待機しています。 助けを必要に感じていらしゃる方は、どの国の方であれ、 1年中いつでも彼らに話すことができます。 約束を取る必要はなく、相談にいらした方のお名前を聞くこともありません。" とあります。 身元確認もなく、会員である必要もなく、パスワードもなく、国籍も関係ない... なんと開かれた姿勢なのでしょうか！ 受け入れる側の度量の大きさ感じます。 度量の小さい私には眩しい... According to the Leaflet, "Employees of the church and the Department of Social Services and Health Care are on hand in the lobby of the chapel during opening hours. You can talk to them if you feel you need help any day of the year, regardless of where you are from. There is no need to make an appointment and all conversations are anonymous." They do not ask our identification, we do not have to become its members, no password,does not matter nationality... What an open attitude! I feel helpers's generosity. They are radiant for me who is narrow mind... |
Here, entry is free and the leaflets are free, too.
I took photographs with their permission and leaflets, so I would donate a little.
However, I did not have any Euro coins.
I thought I would ask the staff
'I do not have any Euro coins, could I donate a Pound coin and where do I drop?'
When I was asking the staff 'I do not have any Euro coin', at that stage the staff said
’You will go there' and pointed to the room which the sign shows is for advice and then I realized I made some kind of misunderstanding.
(Oh! No! No! No!).... I do not mean that, just I would donate a little by using a Pound coin.
At the end, the staff pointed to the donation box and I dropped the coin.
The box is in unity with the surrounding design, so it was difficult for me to find.
I felt many things here : welfare, religion, how to approach people, and the significance of Scandinavian design.
4) 他の教会 / Other Churches
光の教会と呼ばれるミュールマキ教会
: Myyrnaki Church や北海道の水の教会を設計した安藤 忠雄 (1941 ~) 氏に、インスピレーションを与えたと言われる'オタニエミ礼拝堂
: Otaniemi Chapel にも行って見たかったのですけれど、これらはヘルシンキ市内にないので、実現できませんでした。次回があれば、ぜひ訪ねたいです。
水の教会にも行ってみたい....
