年を超えての本焼が1月1日終了しました。
その後の1月の焼成11回分の記録をこのセクションにまとめました。
1月から2月へかけての焼成は、ここには載せていません。
私の窯では、間を開けず焼成をすると、1ヶ月に約15回ほどの焼成が可能であると知りました。
'窯-No.1' は本焼できますが、'窯-No.2' は素焼 (私の場合、1040度) が限界です。
過去に、何となく数を数え、その後の回数を予測することはありましたが、月に何回できるかという明確な数字を認識したのは、初めてです。
今回の個展準備は、さまざまなことを同時進行していて、ブログ更新もその1つです。
(通常、個展準備中は止めています)
ブログに制作の記録を載せることで、自分の頭も整理され、今後の
作品制作についての方向性が決まったり、新しいアイディアを得たりできているように思います。
公式な作品発表前なので、全部の作品を載せることも、最終段階の
作品を載せることも控えて来ました。
年が明けて、個展告知を広める段階に来て、昨年よりは、ブログに
載せる作品は増やすつもりです。

Biscuit Firing
The glaze firing saw the old year out and the New Year finishing on 1st of January.
The records for the subsequent 11 firings in January are summarized in this section.
The firing from January ending in February is not here.
In my kilns, I found that if I have firings without a break, I can have a firing about 15 times a month.
'Kiln-No.1' can have a glaze firing, but 'Kiln-No.2' is limited to biscuit firing (1040 degrees in my case).
In the past, I've managed to count and predict how many firings I can have times, but this is the first time I've recognized a clear number of times in a month.
Various preparations for this exhibition are going on at the same time, and updating the blog is one of them.
(Usually, it is stopped while preparing for my exhibition)
By posting my creating record on the blog, I think that my thoughts can be organized, the direction for future work making can be decided, and new ideas can be obtained.
Since it is before the official work announcement, I have refrained from posting all the works and the final stage works.
In the new year, I am at the stage of spreading the announcement of my exhibition, and I plan to post more works on my blog than last year.

が、それらはブログに載せていません。
After taking the shelves with my works out of the kiln both after biscuit firing and after glaze firing, I also photograph the works, while still on the firing shelves.
But they are not posted on the blog.

| 本焼開始 窯 - No.1 'A-6' 設定 : 温度 1240°C、ねらし20分 大きなお皿の作り方を変えてから、新しいやり方のお皿が 全て割れてしまっていました。 なので今回は焼成の設定を変えてみました。 まあ、問題は焼成ではなく私の作り方だとは理解していますが、 悪あがきです。 割れることは覚悟してます。 1月27日 Start Glaze Firing Kiln - No.1 'A-6' setting : temperature 1230°C, soak for 20 minutes After changing the way to make big plates, all the new plates were broken.
