1) 路地 / Alley
その路地の角には、食パン専門店 "Bread Code" がありましたが、
現在では製造工房のみの営業になっています。
路地の突き当たりには、 "カフェ ルセット" : "café recette" 、その先には、鎌倉を舞台にしたドラマのロケ地で有名な"カフェ坂の下"があります。
ちょっとしたカフェ激戦区です。

Alley
There is a 'Cafe・Fukubiyori', in the alley leading from Gokuraku Pass to Yuigahama Beach (National Route 134).
At the corner of the alley, there was a bread specialty shop "Bread Code", but now it is only a bakery factory.
At the end of the alley is "café recette", and beyond that is
"Cafe Sakanoshita", which is famous as the location of a drama series set in Kamakura.
It's quite a fierce cafe battlefield.

This tendency is seen in many cafes in Kamakura.  私と夫Rは、カフェ・福日和へ初めて入りました。 I and my husband R visited the 'Cafe・Fukubiyori' for the first time. 'Fukubiyori' is a creative word whcih probably means Lucky Weather.  手作り感が温かみを感じさせてくれます。 The handmade feeling makes me feel warm. |

| 屋外席 偶然、ウエイトレスさんが表へ出てきたところを撮影しました。 私達の声を聞きつけて、案内しに出てきてくれたようでした。 この女性がこのカフェのムードメーカーです。 可愛い笑顔と気配りを持続させています。 素晴らしい！ Tables Outside By chance, I took a picture of a waitress coming out. It seemed that she heard our voice and came out to guide us. This woman is the mood maker of this cafe. She keeps cute smiling and consideration. Wonderful! |

| スターアニス スターアニスは、ここでは主に 'ちゃい' に用いられます。 スターアニスは、八角であることは知っていましたが それは果実、スパイスとしての名前です。 植物としての名前がトウシキミ (唐樒)だと初めて知りました。 スターアニスは、アニス (過泥子 / 遏泥子) とは 別であることも初めて知りました。 アニスの果実、アニシードは、お菓子やパンに使用されます。 Star Anise Star Anise is mainly used here for 'Chai'. I knew that Star Anise is a Hakkaku, but it was named as a fruit, spice. For the first time, I found that the name of the plant is lIlicium Verum. For the first time, I also found that Star Anise is different from Anise. Anise fruits, Aniseed are used in sweets and bread. |

カルダモン 想像力を掻き立てられるので、半透明に見えるものが好きです。 これはカルダモン！ カルダモンは私達の好きなスパイスです。 Cardamom I like things that look translucent because they stir my imagination. This is cardamom! Cardamom is our favourite spice. |

| 'ちゃい' を作っているところです。 ミルクの泡を作る手軽な道具 (機械？) : ミルクフローサー があることにびっくりしました。 エスプレッソマシンでミルクの泡を作ることは知っていましたが、 こんなお手軽なものがあるとは....日本製でしょうか？ 欲しい器具です。 買うかもしれません？ She is making a chai. I was surprised to find a handy tool (machine?) : Milk frother for making milk foam. I knew that an espresso machine would make milk foam, but there is such a handy thing ... Is it made in Japan? This is the equipment I want. I might buy~? |

| 古民家の雰囲気ですね。 椅子が、今はなき、'カフェLife' を思い出させます。 オーナーのTさん、どうしていらっしゃるかしら？ Here has the atmosphere of a Show House. The chairs remind me of the now-defunct 'Cafe Life'. Owner T, what is he doing?  窓から路地とお店の入り口が見えます。 '目隠し' に配慮が感じられます。 You can see the alley and the entrance of the cafe from the window. I can feel the consideration for 'screen'. |

| メニュー Rは食べられないものが複数あります。 残念ながら、このカフェで食事はできませんでした。 Menu There are several things that R cannot eat. Unfortunately, he couldn't eat in this cafe.  飲み物のページ 'ちゃい' の種類がいくつもあって、驚きました。 私はプレーンでお店の名前がついた、'福日和ちゃい'、 Rは、'ショコラ de ちゃい'を選びました。 Drink Page I was surprised that there are many types of 'Chai'. 'Fukubiyori Chai' ボール玉のお砂糖も、'ちゃい' のデザインも可愛らしい...。 The sugar balls and the Chai design are cute...  この 'ちゃい' は、カップの中に宇宙があります。 This chai has a universe in the cup. |
食事ができなかったのは残念ですが、'ちゃい' は美味しく、リラックスできる雰囲気があるので、好きなカフェになりました。
また、行きたいと思います。
It's a pity that we (he) couldn't eat here, but the 'Chai' is delicious and the cafe has a relaxing atmosphere, so it became my (our) favourite cafe.
I (we) would like to visit again.
