1) 秋の恵 / Autumn Gift

秋の恵
我が家の栗です。
最近、夫Rは栗集めに夢中です。
　ブルーベリーの収穫と栗拾いは年中行事になっています。
 
Autumn Gift
They are our sweet chestnuts.
Recently, my husband R is crazy about collecting chestnuts.
Blueberry harvesting and chestnut picking are annual events.

2) 夕暮れ / Evening

美しい夕焼け、富士山が予想される時には、Rはしばしば撮影にしに外出します。

私は出不精なので在宅して、なんとか撮影を試みます。

昨年から今年にかけては、コロナ禍で外出を控える日々なので、逆に、近くへの外出の機会は増えました。

ここに載せる写真は夕焼け時に自宅から徒歩 1分ほどの場所で撮影しました。

Evening

When a beautiful sunset or Mt. Fuji are expected, R often goes out to photograph.

I'm a stay-at-home, so I stay home and try to photograph.

From last year to this year, I have had to refrain from going out due to coronavirus crisis, so in contrast, I have more opportunities to go out nearby.

The photographs shown here were taken at sunset about a minute's walk away from our house.

八岐大蛇
私が '八岐大蛇 (ヤマタノオロチ)'と名付けている場所です。
夕焼け時が最もそれらしく見えます。

Yamata no Orochi 

This is the place I call 'Yamata no Orochi'.

During the sunset, there looks most like it.

美しい景色でも多くの場合電線が入ってしまうのが、
日本です。

In Japan, even in beautiful scenery, cables often enter.

3) 月夜 / Moon Night

A. 自宅から / From Home

自宅からの月
この景色にも電線がたくさん入り込んでしまいます。

Many cables get into this scenery as well.

夜空に穴が空いているように見え、
そこから別の世界に行けるような気になります。

It looks like there is a hole in the night sky, and
 I feel like I can go to another world from there.

月は綺麗なのに、電線が横切ります。
結局、家からの撮影を諦めて外へ出て撮影をしました。

The moon is beautiful, but a cable crosses.
After all, I gave up photographing from home and
 went outside to photograph. 

B. 月を求めて / In Search of the Moon

自宅から徒歩30秒の月
Moon, a 30-second Walk from Home

地球から38万4,403kmの月
地球中心から月の中心までの平均距離は
38万4,403km（約1.3光秒)。
地球の赤道半径の約60.27倍。
そして月は平均して1年あたり3.8cmの速さで地球から
遠ざかっています。

the centre of the moon is 384,403 km (about 1.3 light seconds).
Approximately 60.27 times the radius of the equator of the earth.
And the moon is moving away from the earth
at an average rate of 3.8 cm per year.

C. 再び自宅から / From Home, Again

電線や電柱がなければ風情ある景色なのですけれど、
なければ今の生活が成り立ちません。

Without cables and utility poles, the scenery would be charming,
but without it, the current life would not be possible.
