Three People's Hearts on One Plate

リボン付きだから 北海道に住む友人Izuから、ビーネ・マヤ / BIene MAJAの 焼き菓子が届いてから、ほぼ毎日 1つづつ夫Rは食べていました。 私は甘党ではないので、彼のお皿から一口 お福分けしてもらいました。 届いた時から、Rは、リボンがついた "松の実" を 最後に食べると決めていました。 Because with Ribbon We received a box of baked confectionery by BIene MAJA from our friend Izu, who lives in Hokkaido. I'm not a sweet tooth, so I have a bite as happiness share with him. From the time it arrived, R decided to eat the "Pine nut" with the ribbon last. |

| Rがお皿を選び、姉Yからのプレゼントの巨峰 (キョホウ) を "Pine nutに"乗せてデコレーションしました。 お皿は私の磁器作品：'Ume'です。 梅柄の花びらと巨峰が同じ雰囲気を持つ丸です。 ほのぼのするような、ひょうきんな印象を持つ組み合わせです。 R chose a plate and decorated it with 'Kyoho grape', a gift from my sister Y, on "Pine nut". The plate is my porcelain work : 'Ume' ; Japanese apricot. It is a circle with the same atmosphere as the petals of the 'Ume' pattern and Kyoho. It is a combination that gives a warm or humorous impression. ファンキー！ Rが 「Funky! : ファンキー!」 と表現しました。 わかるような気がしますが明確にはわかりません。 Funky! R described it as "Funky !" I feel like I understand it, but I don't know clearly. |

| 誕生日ケーキに添えた、果物とホイップも 一緒のお皿に盛り付けました。 3人分の思いがこもった一品です (笑)。 I also served the fruit and whipped cream which had been with his birthday cake, on the same plate. It's a dish that is full of thoughts from three people (ha, ha). |
2) 遅れたプレゼント / Late Present
英国では、'フランネル' と呼ばれる小さな正方形のタオルがあります。
体を洗うときや、髭剃りの時などに使用されます。
Rはそれを欲しがっていたので、誕生日プレゼントしよう思っていました。
私は、フランネルは、日本ではフェイスタオルと呼ばれると思って
ネットで注文しました。
ところが誕生日に届いたのは、通常の細長いタオルでした。
日本のネット上では、'フランネル' は、ハンドタオルと呼ばれていました。
フェイスタオルは、自宅使用することにし、ハンドタオルを新たに注文しました。
お誕生日には遅れましたが、私達は9月中は、'Rのお誕生日・月お祝い'をしているので、それには間に合いました。

Late Present
In Britain, there is a small square towel called 'Flannel'.
It is used when washing the body and when shaving.
R wanted it, so I wanted to give it as his birthday present.
I ordered flannel online because I thought it was called a face towel in Japan.
However, what arrived on his birthday were regular long towels.
On the Japanese Internet, 'Flannel' is called a hand towel.
I decided to use the face towels at home and ordered hand towels.
They were late for his birthday, but we had 'R's birthday Month celebration' during September, so they were in time for it.

| 何度でも乾杯！ フランネルが無事届いたことを祝って、 お誕生日プレゼントのビールを開けました。 好みのうるさいRがフランネルを気に入ってくれたので ほっとしました。 Cheers! Any Number of Times! To celebrate the successful arrival of flannels, we opened a beer, one of birthday presents. I was relieved R liked the flannels who has fastidious tastes. |
