Inamuragasaki Pavement along the Beach

1月23日にも稲村ヶ崎公園に来ましたが、東側はこの日が初めてでした。
この地での "鎌倉の戦い" (1333) については前回の訪問のセクションに載せています。

| 国道134号 稲村ヶ崎公園 [鎌倉海浜公園 (稲村ヶ崎地区) ] を後に、切り通しを歩いて極楽寺方面へ向かいました。 1928年、稲村ヶ崎の丘陵 : 霊山山 (リョウゼンザン) が分断されて切り通しが開かれました。 開通当時は、県道片瀬鎌倉線でしたが、 現在は国道134号になっています。 私は稲村ヶ崎公園には数回訪れていましたが、 この切り通しを歩くのは初めでした。 夫Rは自転車でよおり抜けたことはありますが 歩くのは、初めてでした。 National Route 134 In 1928, the hill of Inamuragasaki : Mt. Ryouzen were divided and cut through. At the time of opening, it was called, the prefectural road Katase Kamakura Line, but now it is National Route 134. I have visited Inamuragasaki Park several times, but it was the first time I walked through this cutting. My husband R has cycled through the cutting, but it was his first time to walk.  道路開通記念の碑 切り通しの東側に、"道路開通記念の碑"があります。 Road Opening Memorial Monument On the east side of the cut-through, there is a "Road Opening Memorial Monument". |

We came to Inamuragasaki Park on 23rd of January, though this was the first time on the east side.
The "Siege of Kamakura" (1333) here is mentioned in the section of my last visit.

B. 海への階段 / Steps to Sea
記念碑近くに道路から海岸へ降りる階段があります。
けれども現在は途中で通行止めになっています。
海へは出られませんが、国道下の歩道で海沿いを歩くことができます。

| 通行禁止 / No Entry |
Steps to Sea
Near the monument there are steps leading down from the road to the sea.
However, the lowest section is currently closed off.
We cannot get down to the sea, but you can walk along on the pavement lower than the National Route.

通行禁止の先 / No Entry Ahead  透明度に驚きました。 相模湾の海はあまり綺麗な印象がありませんでしたが 結構、綺麗です。 I was surprised at the clarity. I had the impression that the seawater of Sagami Bay was not very beautiful, though it was quite beautiful here.  コロナ禍で人があまり海へやってこないので綺麗なのかしら？ どこかの海か、川が、コロナ禍で、人が来ず、 とても綺麗になったというニュースを読んだ記憶があります。 I wonder if it's beautiful because people don't come to the sea very often in COVID-19 calamity. I remember reading the news that somewhere the sea or a river became so beautiful because there were no people there during COVID-19 calamity. |

| 階段から稲村ヶ崎下を見る こんな風景を見ると新田義貞 (ニッタ ヨシサダ / 1301 - 1338) が 稲村ヶ崎下を通り抜けたということが具体的に想像できます。 Looking at the foot of Inamuragasaki Cliff from Steps Looking at this landscape, I can just imagine that Nitta Yoshisada ( 1301 - 1338) passed through Inamuragasaki. |

稲村ヶ崎突破 新田義貞による稲村ヶ崎突破の場面。 義貞が太刀を海に投げ入れると竜神の奇跡により潮が引き、 そこから鎌倉を攻めたという伝説がある。 Inamuragasaki Breakthrough A scene of Inamuragasaki breakthrough by Nitta Yoshisada. Legend has it that when Yoshisada threw his sword into the sea, the tide was pulled by the miracle of the Dragon God, and he attacked Kamakura from here. 画像は下記より / This from below★ |
2) 海を見る / Look at Sea

| 稲村ヶ崎を東側から見る 国道から一段低い場所に歩道があります。 これから稲村ヶ崎を背にして極楽寺方面へ歩きます。 View Inamuragasaki from East Side There is a sidewalk a few steps lower than the National Route. From now on, we would walk towards Gokurakuji with Inamuragasaki behind us.  極楽寺方面 過酷な環境でも植物は元気です。 Towards Gokurakuji Plants are fine even in harsh environments. |
ここに載せる写真は、極楽寺方面へ歩きつつ、海を撮影したものです。
Photograohs shown here were taken of the Sea while walking towards Gokurakuji.

| 逗子方面を見る / Looking Towards Zushi |

| 水泳に向かない海であることを納得します。 岩も危険、岩が作り出す複雑な海流も危険だと推測します。 I am convinced that the sea is not suitable for swimming. I presume that rocks are dangerous, and the complex ocean currents created by rocks are also dangerous.  |

| 三浦半島を見る 三浦半島は、太平洋に向けて突き出し、 東京湾と相模湾とを分けています。 View Miura Peninsula The Miura Peninsula lies south of Yokohama and Tokyo and divides Tokyo Bay, to the east, from Sagami Bay, to the west. Cities and towns on the Miura Peninsula include Yokosuka, Miura, Hayama, Zushi, and Kamakura.  見えますか？ / Can you see it? |

3) 山側 / Mountain Side
A. 歩道 / Pavement

| 1つの山 : 霊山山 (リョウゼンザン)であったものが 人工的に切り取られたことがよくわかります。 霊仙山は、鎌倉を難攻不落の要塞にした自然防御の1つでした。 I can see that what used to be a mountain : Mt. Ryozen was cut by man. Mt. Ryozen was one of the natural defences that made Kamakura an impregnable fortress. |

| 岩肌がそのままになっているのを知り、驚きました。 この下に国道が通っています。 I was surprised to find that the rock surface was left as it was. The National Route runs below this.  |

| ヒルガオ ヒルガオでしょうか？ 私は、ヒルガオは夏の花という印象でしたが、 これがヒルガオなら、かなり早咲きです。 日当たりが良いせいか、たくさん開花しています。 Japanese Bindweed Is it Japanese Bindweed? I had the impression that the Bindweed is a summer flower, but if it is Bindweed, it blooms quite early. Many flowers are blooming, probably because there gets a lot of Sun.  潮風にも負けず、素晴らしい！ It is wonderful, surviving against the sea breeze! |

| コマツヨイグサ 撮影時は花の名前を知りませんでしたが、のちに、 コマツヨイグサ (小待宵草) であることを知りました。 Cutleaf Evening Primrose I didn't know the name of the flower at the time of photographing, but later I found out that it was Cutleaf Evening Primrose.  潮風に負けずの咲く、花も名前も可愛らしいコマツヨイグサ。 Cutleaf Evening Primrose, which blooms as well as the sea breeze and has cute flowers and names. |

| こんな場所にも家が立っています。 A house stands in such a place. |

| 少し残された山の部分も将来は家々が 立つのかもしれません。 I wonder if houses may be built on what little is left of the mountain in the future. |
4) 稲村ヶ崎磯づたいの道
Inamuragasaki Pavement along the Beach

| 稲村ヶ崎磯づたいの道 再び国道134号を離れ、海沿いの歩道を歩きます。 その歩道は、'稲村ヶ崎磯づたいの道'と呼ばれています。 ブルーのタイルでデザインされている歩道を そう呼ぶのだと私は理解しましたが、 稲村ヶ崎の切り通しから続いている歩道を そう呼ぶのかもしれません。 Inamuragasaki Isozutai no Michi : Inamuragasaki Pavement along the Beach Leave Route 134 again and walk along the pavement by the sea. The pavement is called "Inamuragasaki Isozutai no Michi": "Inamuragasaki Pavement along the Beach". I can understand that this pavement, designed with blue tiles is so called, from the Inamuragasaki cutting.  |

| 観光名所タイル 海ばかり見て歩道上のタイルの絵に気がつきませんでした。 Rが教えてくれたので撮影できました。 Tourist Attraction Tiles I just looked at the sea and didn't notice tiles painting in the pavement. R told me so I was able to photograph.  Inamiragasaki  Sakanoshita  Great Buddha of Kamakura  Zaimokuza Beach / Yuigahama Beach |

| パーク・ホテル : ★ パークホテルで時々展覧会をしていたので、 このホテルがこの周辺にあることは地図上で知っていました。 実際に見るのは初めてでした。 Park Hotel : ★ I knew on the map that Park Hotel is in the vicinity, because they sometimes have exhibitions in the Hotel. It was my first time to actually see the Hotel.  |

| パークホテル前の信号機で大きなワンチャンを見ました。 中に人が入っているようなワンチャンです。 写真ではお利口さんに待っていますが、 数回にわたり飛び出してゆきそうになっていました。 トラックが来た時に、その前でかなり飛び出し、 飼い主の方が力づくで止めていました。 見ていたこちらがハラハラした光景でした。 大きな犬の飼い主さんは大変ですね。 |

| Zoom Photographing I saw a big dog at the traffic light in front of the Park hotel. The dog looked as if there was a person inside. In the photographs, the dog looks sensible, but the dog was about to jump out several times. When a lorry was coming, the dog jumped out quite a bit in front, and the owner stopped it by force. This was the nervous scene I was looking at. It would be difficult for the owner of a big dog, wouldn't it? |

| こんにちは！ どの種類の犬なのか、私にはわかりませんんが とても手入れをされ、愛されている犬であることが感じられます。 飼い主の方の服装の趣味と共通していることも感じられます。 私が撮影していることを知ってか知らずか こちらを向いてくれました。 ありがとう！ Hello! I don't know which kind of dog it is, but I feel it is a very well-cared for and beloved dog. I can also feel that it has something in common with the owner's clothing taste. The dog turned to me, knowing or not knowing that I was photographing. Thank you! |
ここから、坂ノ下・長谷方面へ歩いてゆきました。
From here, we walked towards Sakanoshita and Hase.
