カフェは靴を脱ぎます。
入いってみると、明らかに、どこかでデザインかアートを学んだセンスが溢れていました。
オーナーさんに
「このセンスはどこで学ばれたのですか？」
と聞くと
彼は
「僕もアーティストでした。芸術大学ですし海外留学もしました」
と言う返事。
彼の 'でした'という過去形が気になりましたが、深く追求するのは憚られました。
カフェ内で、彼のアート作品のアルバムも見せていただきました。
ギャラリーは、展示会設営、大工仕事やリフォーム工事も請け負っているそうなので、彼の場合は、自分のアート作品制作をしなくとも、彼のアート感覚を生かせるのでしょう。
ギャラリーの企画展もありますね。

Take off your shoes in this cafe.
When I entered, it was clear that there was a sense of learning design or art somewhere.
I asked the owner
"Where did you learn this sense?"
He said
"I was also an artist. I graduated from an art university in Japan and studied abroad."
Although his past tense, 'was' was on my mind, I hesitated to pursue it deeply.
He also showed us an album of his art works in the cafe.
The gallery also undertakes exhibition setup, carpentry and remodeling work, so in his case, he is able to make use of his artistic sense without having to create his own art work.

パンセ ギャラリー も素敵でしたが、ここも1つのギャラリーのようで、展覧会場のようでもありました。
アート作品がたくさん飾られていました。
The Pensee Gallery was nice, and here was also like another gallery, like an exhibition hall.
Many art works were displayed.

| びっくり！ カフェに犬がいました。 オーナーさんのペットなのでしょう。 犬の存在がカフェに温かみを添えているのかもしれません。 でも私はちょっと違和感を持ちました。 それは、配膳されたスープにウェイターの指が 入っているのを見つけたような感覚に似ています。 Surprised! There was a dog in the cafe. It's probably the owner's pet. The presence of dog may add warmth to the cafe. But I had a little strange feeling. It's like seeing the waiter's finger dipping in the soup. |
パンセ ギャラリーも、カフェ白も、とても私好みで、ここを知ったことが嬉しかったです。
桐生へ行く機会には、寄ってみたいと思います。
I like Pensee Gallery and Cafe haku very much, and I was happy to know this place.
I would like to stop by again when I go to Kiryu.
