1) 芦屋 / Ashiya
前回、関西旅行をしたのは、2010年でした (下記)。

 あっという間に7年がたってしまいました。

今回の関西旅行は、前のセクションで書いた、Sさんのグループ展を見るのが目的でしたが関西の友人たちにも会いました。
下記グループ展について。

Sさんのグループ展には、友人Hちゃんと行きました。

彼女に合うのは7年ぶりでした。

前のセクションでも書いたF社で、Hちゃんとは同期入社でした。

グループ展はJR芦屋駅の駅ビル開催でしたので、駅近くの"ホテル竹園"で、Hちゃんとランチを食べました。

Ashiya

7 years have passed by in no time.

The purpose of this trip to Kansai was to see S San's group exhibition which I wrote about in the previous section, below, and I also met friends in Kansai.
❶2017年11月25日- 1) 関西旅行 - 芦屋 / Kansai Trip - Ashiya...

 I went to the group exhibition with a friend, H Chan.

It was the first time in 7 years to see her.

H Chan and  I entered F Company at the same time, I wrote about the company in the previous section.

Since the group exhibition was being held in JR Ashiya Station building, I had a lunch with H Chan at "Hotel Takezono" near the station.

 ランチ / Lunch
ランチセットの前菜はバイキングです。
Lunch set appetizer is buffet style.
メインはいくつか選べます。
私はとても久しぶりに、ハンバーグなんぞを選んでしまいました。
年のせいか、胃もたれをこし、ちょっと後悔...。

 We can choose one of a few mains.
I hadn't had hamburgers for many years.
Later, because of my age, I regretted  the heavy feeling in my stomach.


ランチのあとに、H ちゃんとグループ展へ行きました。

After lunch, we went to the group exhibition.




2) 三つのパン屋 / Three Bakeries 
　A. フロインドリーブ/ Freundlieb
芦屋から三宮へ移動。

Hちゃんにリクエストして、フロインドリーブ (Freundlieb) 生田店(本店)へ行きました。

フロインドリーブは、ドイツ人のパン職人、ハインリヒ・フロインドリーブ /
Heinrich Freundlieb (1884 -1955)が日本人の妻、ヨンと1924年に創業しました。

この夫婦の話は、NHK、連続テレビ小説 (朝ドラ)『風見鶏』(1977 -1978) になり、フロインドリーブの名が全国に知られました。

 元総理の吉田茂 (ヨシダシゲル / 1878 -1967)が毎朝、フロインドリーブのパンを空輸させていたそうです。

夫妻の息子ハインリヒ2世 (? - ?) がドイツで製菓を学び、帰国後、店にパンのほかに洋菓子を加えました。

ヘラ・フロインドリーブが3代目の代表取締役になりましたが、阪神・淡路大震災 (1995年)によって本店が全壊します。

その後、旧神戸ユニオン教会を改装し、工場と店にし、カフェもオープンしました。

 神戸の街を歩いていると住んでいた時のことが思い出されました。

街中が人混みであっても、ゆったりとした空気が流れているように感じ、神戸は住むには良い街であると思いました。

建物は国の登録有形文化財です。

Freundlieb
Move from Ashiya to Sannomiya.

I asked H Chan that we visit Freundlieb's main shop in Ikuta, Kobe.

 A German baker, Heinrich Freundlieb (1884 - 1955) founded Freundlieb with his Japanese wife, Yon in 1924.

 Freundlieb became well known after NHK 's daily morning drama : Asadora, "Kazamidori ; Weathercock" which was based on the story of this couple.

It is said that former prime minister Shigeru Yoshida (1878 - 1967) had Freundlieb bread airlifted to Tokyo every morning from Kobe.

The couple's son Heinrich II (?- ?) studied Confectionery in Germany and after returning to Kobe, besides bread, he added sweets.

Hera Freundlieb became the third representative director, but the main shop (bakery and office) was completely destroyed by the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995.

After that, they refurbished the former Kobe Union Church, made it into their bakery and shop, and later opened a cafe there.

While I was walking in Kobe I remembered my life in Kobe.

 Even if in a crowd, I felt a relaxed air flowing in the city and I think Kobe is a very good place to live.


B. フロイン堂 / Froin-Do
神戸岡本の "フロイン堂" で、食パンをおばあさんが焼いていたという記憶が私にはあります。

 ずっと、フロインドリーブとフロイン堂は姉妹店だと思っていました。

 事実、当日はフロイン堂はフロインドリーブの支店として1932年に開店していたようですが、現在は別のお店になっています。

 私が神戸在住当時から、"フロイン堂"の食パンはなかなか買えない人気商品で、今も、食パンは予約だけで完売だそうです。

F社といい、フロインドリーブといい、なぜか、朝ドラと関係しています。

 Freundlieb
Both of F Company and  “Freundlieb” relate to Asadora : 
NHK 's daily morning drama. 

Froin-Do
I have a memory that an old lady baked loaves in a bakery, “Froin-Do” in Okamoto, Kobe.

For a long time, I had thought that “Freundlieb” and “Froin-Do” were sister shops.

In fact “Froin-Do” opened in 1932 as a branch of “Freundlieb, but now they are independent.

When I lived in Kobe, “Froin-Do” loaves were so popular that I could not easily buy them, even now, the loaves are only sold by reservation.



C. ベルグド / Bergfeld
スライスされたプンパニッケル / Slice of Pumpernickel

鎌倉のベルグド (Bergfeld) の初代オーナー夫妻は、ここ、神戸フロインドリーブでパン製造を学んだと聞いています。

 私は、神戸のフロインドリーブの黒パン、"ポンパニッケル"(Pumpernickel) が好きでしたが、鎌倉二階堂で暮らし始めた時に、近くのベルグド(本店)で "プンパニッケル'' (Pumpernickel')が買えることが嬉しかったです。

 'ポンパニッケル'と'プンパニッケル'も'Pumpernickel'のことですが、フロインドリーブとベルグドでの表示が多少違いますが、味は同じように感じます。

 ですが、フロインドリーブのものは長年食べていないので、本当のところはわかりません。
プンパニッケルはハムやチーズと良く合います。

 Bergfeld
I heard that the first owner couple of a bakery, "Bergfeld" in Kamakura, learned bread making here in Freundlieb, Kobe.

 I liked Freundlieb's black bread : "Pumpernickel'' in Kobe, but when I began to live in Nikaido, Kamakura, I could buy 'Pumpernickel' in "Bergfeld"(main shop) close to my house and I was happy.

 I feel both "Pumpernickel"s are similar taste, although I haven't eaten Freundlieb's "Pumpernickel" for a long time, so I do not know the fact.

カフェは2階にあります。
混む時には整理券が出ますが、このときはすぐに座れました。
素敵な空間です。
人気があるのがわかります。

Their cafe is on the first floor.
They give a numbered ticket when it gets crowded,
though we could get our table straight away that day.
It is lovely space.
I understand why it is so popular.



H ちゃんのスィート
私は甘いものがちょっと苦手なので、カフェ・オレだけにしました。  

 H Chan's Sweets
I am a bit weak on sweet things, so I only had a cup of cafe au lait.

 お互いの近況報告をし、共通の友人、金沢に住むSちゃんに合うために、2018年のスケジュールを合わせました。

SちゃんもF社の同期です。
We reported on each other 's current situations and adjusted our schedule in 2018 for seeing our friend, S Chan who lives  in Kanazawa.

S Chan was also entered F Company at the same time as us.

1階はショップ/ Shop on the Ground Floor


カフェを出たときには、ライティングを見ることができました。
When we left the cafe, we could see the lighting.
