鎌倉の友人カップルH&TJに、葉山にある、カフェ、"パッパニーニョ / Pappa Nino" に連れていってもらいました。

パッパニーニョは、もとサッカー選手、元三菱重工サッカーチーム監督、そして、1976年6月から1978年12月まで日本代表の監督も勤めた、
二宮 寛 (ニノミヤヒロシ / 1937 -) 氏が経営するカフェです。

私はサッカーのことは殆ど知りませんでしたが、英国留学中に、Rがマンチェスター・ユナイテッドのファンであるので、少しゲームを見るようになりました。

当時、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドに在籍していた、
クリスティアーノ・ロナウド (Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro / 1985 -) や
悪童ルーニー (ウェイン・マーク・ルーニー / Wayne Mark Rooney / 1985) 
のプレーに感動しました。

H&TJ couple live in Kamakura, they took me to a café, "Pappa Nino" located in Hayama.

Pappa Niño is owned by Mr. Hiroshi Ninomiya (1937 -) who was a footballer, 
a former Mitsubishi Heavy Industries football team manager and Japan National football team manager from June 1976 until December 1978.

I do not know about football, while I studied in Britain, I began watching the game 
a bit, because R was a fan of Manchester United.

I was impressed by the play of Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro(1985 - ) and Wayne Mark Rooney (1985 - ) who played for Manchester United.

パッパニーニョとは「お父さんと少年」という意味。

ベッケンバウワー(Franz Anton Beckenbauer / 1945 -) 氏が名付けたそうです。

先ほども書きましたが、私はサッカーに詳しくないので、

ベッケンバウワー 氏は知りませんが、サッカー界では有名人ということ。

あっ、ちなみに英国では、通常、サッカーでなく、フットボールと言います。

Pappa Nino means "father and boys".

I heard that Franz Anton Beckenbauer (1945 -) named the cafe.

As I mentioned earlier, I am not familiar with football,

I do not know Mr. Beckenbauer, 
but he is a famous person in the football community.

By the way, in Britain, they do not usually say soccer for football.

Rは以前、カフェのみの利用で、彼らと来たことがあり、私はRから、そのカフェのことを話には聞いていました。

この日、Rは英国にいましたので、パッパニーニョに、H&TJと私で、朝食を食べに行きました。

朝食は、11時までに入店すると注文が可能ということでしたので、私たちは11時前に伺いました。

朝食の最初はミルク。
こんな美しいグラスに入ってます。

The beginning of breakfast is milk.
Milk is in such a beautiful glass.

R has been "Pappa Nino" and had a cup of coffee with the couple before me, 
so I have heard from R about the cafe, though only I came here with them for the breakfast on this day, because R was in Britain.

Breakfast orders finish at 11 o'clock, so we went there before the time.

コーヒーは、注文後に豆を挽き、お客の目の前にコーヒーセットがワゴンで

運ばれてきて、お客の目の前でいれてくれます。

そのうえ、二宮氏自身が！

The coffee beans are ground after ordering and a coffee set is brought in front of customers with a wagon and your coffee is made in front of you.

Moreover, Ninomiya himself!

二宮氏はお話し上手です。
チャーミングな方です。

Mr. Ninomiya speaks well.
He is charming.

Rは食の問題をかかえているので、そのほかにもいろいろあるので、
ここではコーヒーだけを楽しみ方が彼にとっては良いように思います。

Since R has a problem with some foods and others

so I think it is good that he enjoys only coffee here.

サッカ ー関連の品々
Many things in relation with football

二宮氏とロナウド が一緒に写っている写真もあります。
ほかの写真も有名選手と一緒なのでしょうけれど、
私にはロナウド しかわからない....すみません。

There is photograph of Mr. Ninomiya and Ronaldo together.

I think other photographs are also with famous footballers,

however, I only recognize Ronaldo .... I'm sorry.

世界各地のいろいろなものが飾ってあり、このセンスはどうなの？
と一瞬思いますが、不思議とここはこれでいいのかなと思い、
居心地は悪く感じません。

Various things around the world are displayed, and I wonder how about this sense? for a moment, though I think that here is alright I do not feel uncomfortable.

二宮氏は、素敵に生きていらっしゃるな〜と感じました。

I feel that Mr. Ninomiya  lives wonderfully.
