Rの弟B＆Eカップルにいつも招待され、そのほか、今までにいろいろとしていただいたことがあり、何か彼らにお礼がしたいと思っていました。
今までの感謝をこめて、自宅のディナーにウィーン旅行(8月31日〜9月4日）前に招待しました。

英国で手に入る材料で洋風な具材で巻き寿司を作りました。
7、8 月にマンチェスターのRの母Jの家に訪ねた時も、Jの家にRの他の家族を招き、 '巻き寿司ディナー' と '日本風カレー、ディナー' の日を作りました。
これも今までしていただいたいろいろなことに対しての感謝の気持ちでした。
ディナーはどちらもみんなに好評でした。
Rはわさびが食べられませんが、他の人はわさびもOKでした。
日本食材が一般化されているのを感じます。
最近では、普通のスーパーマーケットで日本食材のコーナーが作られています。
なので、海苔やお豆腐やお醤油を手に入れるのは難しいことはでありません。
日本から日本食材は多少もって行きますし、英国の専門店で購入したりすることも時々あります。
今回、海苔やお豆腐は、ウィンブルドンの ウエイトローズ / Waitorose というスーパーマーケットで購入しました。

お刺身は通常のスーパーでは難しいので、スモークサーモンやエビを使用します。
B＆Eカップルは、巻き寿司をとても喜んで食べてくれて、嬉しかったです。
Eは、オーストリア人でウィーン出身なので、ウィーンの情報をたくさん教えてくれて、Bはメールでも情報を伝えてくれました。
ウィーン旅行から帰って来たら、二人が私達を9月12日に招待してくれました。
Eのポークのお料理も美味しかったし、Bが洋梨の皮を向いて手伝ったというデザートも美味しかったです。
招待先での撮影を控えたので、写真はあまりありません。
12th of September
R's brother, B & E couple always invited us so far and I feel they did many good things for me and R.
So I wanted to do something for them and then finally we invited them for dinner in our house before our Vienna Trip: 31st of August to 4th of September.

I made Makizushi : a type of Sushi
I made Western style Makizushi with Western ingredients .
When we went to see R's mother J in Manchester, in July and August, I made 'Makizushi dinner' day and 'Japanese style Curry, dinner' day in J's house and invited R's other family.
Because they always invited us so far, I feel they helped me and R many good things.
So I wanted to return something to them.
Both dinners were well received by all of them.
R cannot eat wasabi, but as for other people, the wasabi was OK.
I feel that Japanese ingredients are generalized.
Nowadays normal supermarkets have a corner of Japanese ingredients.
So it is not difficult to get Nori : a type of seaweed : Laver, tofu and soy sauce.
I brought some Japanese ingredients from Japan, and sometimes I bought them in specialty stores in Britain.
I bought Nori and tofu this time in Waitorose Wimbledon.

It is difficult getting Sashimi in a normal supermarket, I used smoked salmon and prawns.
B & E couple were pleased and enjoyed my Makizushi so I was glad.
E is an Austrian and came form Vienna so that she gave us a lot of information about Vienna, and B conveyed information by the email.
We came home from trip to Vienna, they invited us on 12th of September.
E's cooking of pork was gorgeous, and the dessert for which B peeled pears to help E, was good taste.
I was temperate for taking photographs as a guest so I do not have many photographs.
Because I refrained from photography in the invitation, there are not many photographs.

| 日頃、甘いものはあまり食べない私ですが、これはお代わりしてしまいました！ 梨は、彼らの庭に実ったものです。 E がホイッップクリームに使用したのと同じバニラ入りの砂糖をくれました。 Usually I do not eat sweet or dessert, although I had this and another one! The pears came from their garden. E gave me a sugar with vanilla the same as she used for the whipped cream.  美しく皮が向いてあります。味も良かった！ Beautiful peeling and taste is good! |

7月に新婚さんをディナーにお招きました。
友人MさんがRoと2015年4月に松島で結婚式をあげたのです。
とても暖かで素敵な式で使用したホテルも豪華でした。
そのことについては下記。

MさんとRoのカップルは英国に住んでいます。
ディナーの席で、フィシュ・アンド・チップスの美味しい店があまりないと話したら、美味しい店があると教えて、Mさんが私が英国滞在中に、ランチに一緒に行きましょうと誘ってくれました。
英国を去る前日の9月14日に私達はMさんと一緒にそのフィシュ・アンド・チップスの店でランチを食べました。

We invited a newly-married couple in dinner in July.
The ceremony was very warm and wonderful, and they used a hotel which was luxurious.

The couple of M San and Ro live in the U.K.
We told them it is quite difficult finding good 'Fish and Chips Shop', M San told us the good shop and she asked 'While Coonie stayed in Britain, we will go there together'.
Then we had our lunch with M San in the 'Fish and Chips Shop' on 14th of September, it was the day before our flight to Japan.

| RもMさんもタラを選択、私は.... 私はヒラメのヒレ(軟骨部分)を食べたのですが撮影がうまくできませんでした。 ヒレは小さく切ってあるのでなく、一片です。 初めて、一片のエイヒレを食べたのは英国で 日本では見たことがありませんでした。 ですが、北海道出身の友人は煮付けでよく食べていたと言っていました。 それでも関東圏で一片のエイヒレをお店で見たことがありません。 なので、このお店では、ヒラメのヒレをメニューで見つけて選びました。 ヒラメのヒレも大きい。 写真は失敗してしまいましたが、美味しかった！ エイヒレとヒラメのヒレの味の違いはわかりませんでした。 R and M San choose Cod, but I .... I had 'Fillet of Plaice', although a photograph of it was not good. It was the first time I had a fillet of ray in Britain and I hadn't eaten whole fillet in Japan. However, my friend from Hokkaido Japan said she had often eaten it by Simmering cooking. Even though she said that, I haven't seen it in shops in Kanto area, Japan. So I found 'Fillet of Plaice' on their menu and had it. The fillet was as big as a ray. My photograph of the fillet was a failure, although the taste was good! I do not know the difference in taste between plaice and ray. |

| Rはグリーンピースのマッシュも注文 フィシュ・アンド・チップスにはグリーンピースのマッシュの付け合せは 一般的です。 Rはフィシュ・アンド・チップスの店に行くとよく注文しますが、私はしません。 R ordered mashed green peas, too. Mashed green peas is common as a side dish for fish and chips. He often has it when we go to a fish and chips shop. I don't. |
B. Mさん宅訪問 / Visit House of M San and Ro
ランチの後に、MさんとRoの家へ向かいました。
2013年にも 彼らの家は訪ねています。
あのときは、Roの友人達と一緒にウィンブルドンテニスをTVで見たのでした。
Mさんが家を改装したので見に来て欲しいと7月に言っていたので、フィシュ・アンド・チップスの店と彼女の家を同日に訪ねて、一石二鳥！
彼女の手作りのケーキをデザートにいただきました。
ロールケーキで軽い味でフィシュ・アンド・チップスの後でもさっとお腹に入ってしまいました！
いろいろありがとうございました。
またお目にかかれる日を楽しみにしています。
Visit House of M San and Ro
After the lunch, we went to M San and Ro's house.
We visited their house in 2013, too.
At that time we watched Wimbledon Championship Tennis program on TV with Ro's friends.
In July this year, M San said 'We refurbished our house, so please visit and see it", so we visited the house after the shop on the same day, it was "Killing Two Birds with One Stone!"
We had her home-made roll cake, even though after fish and chips her cake was light so we ate easily.

彼女は写真が趣味 世界各地へRoと旅行していてそのときの写真が飾られています(写真右)。 私の個展のときも撮影してくれ、とても美しい写真だったので了承を得て 個展のブログのセクションにも使用させていただきました(下記)。 ⓳個展 / My Exhibition: Coonie's Space Quest in Kamak... Wedding Gift on the Left M San came to my Exhibition in April 2015 in Japan, so she selected one of my works as a wedding gift. She choose one of the 'Flow Series'. About the series below.
The work is displayed and I am pleased.
I wish you are happy forever.
Her Hobby is Photography. She had trips with Ro to a few countries in the world, photographed there and displayed them on the wall on the right. When she was in my exhibition, she photographed too and got a beautiful one, so I have permission from her and used it for a section of my blog below.
