消防署開放日/Fire Station Open Day

日本でも英国でも、'消防署開放日/Fire Station Open Day'のイベントに行ったことがありませんでした。

どんな感じのものかも知りませんでした。

でも、心魅かれるものがあったので、町中からかなりの距離がありましたが、歩いて行ってみたのです。(帰りはバス！）

小さな子供達のためのものでしたが、私達は楽しい雰囲気を味わい、満足でした。

Fire Station Open Day

I hadn't been to an event 'Fire Station Open Day' in Japan or Britain.

I did not know what to expect, however, something about it was interesting for me.

So we went there, even though the walk took a long time from the middle of Worthing to get there. (We returned by Bus!)

The event is for small children, although we enjoyed cheerful atmosphere and were satisfied.

本物のはしご車にも乗れます。
私は、乗りたかったのですけれど、たくさんの子供達とその保護者が
既に行列を作っていたので、諦めました。

People can get in a real fire engine with ladders.
I wanted to do it, although many children and their protectors made a queue,
so I gave up!
